head打电话+发邮件给我，说我们如果给你这些工资和startup，你还对我们的offer感
兴趣吗？
我说是，顺便在电话里提了一下我现在是F1 visa，在不久的将来需要h1b然后以后再办
绿卡。
现在head又发邮件过来，当时还是没有official offer， 说 “Can you clarify
whether the visa process will involve you or whether it will also involve
immediate family members, so that I can get a good sense of what is
involved.”
我们的情况是这样的，我和我老公现在都是F1，他自己也在找工作，所以h1b应该他自
己也会办。（学校如果不给他找工作也不能给办h1b是吗？）然后未来申请绿卡肯定是
要带上老公的啊。只不过不知道学校怎么给搞绿卡，我们自己也可以申绿卡。
请问各位前辈我应该怎么回复呢？ |

发帖数: 28562 | 6 不要把这些事情搞得太复杂，免得直接把对方吓跑，这样你连offer都没有了。
你要告诉他，你现在是F-1 visa, 你可以申请OPT 然后立刻可以开始新的工作。
然后你的OPT在一年（或者更长）的时间内会到期，在此之前需要把H-1B 办下来，但是
这个应该有足够时间，因为在你的理解中这个H-1B手续最多也就两三个月就能办下来。
至于你的老公，就直接说他的visa 不需要你的学校烦心。（你的学校对此其实也没有
任何关系）
至于你的绿卡问题，没有必要对你的系主任提这个，一是因为他未必懂，二是这些事情
在大部分学校都是一个有章可循的程序。 |
