感觉从了这个unofficial的就是接了他们的offer啊。说什么offical的offer letter要
去学校批，很麻烦。

在negotiate完成拿到official offer之前， unofficial offer = no offer yet |

发帖数: 28562 | 5 你的系主任没有说错。一般都是必须你先口头表示接受offer（但是对于你或者对方都
没有没有法律约束力），然后你们讨价还价，等确定了，才让学校开正式合同，不可能
先开一个正式合同然后改来改去。
这种情况，最后黄掉的可能性是有的，比方说你们negotiate 过程中不欢而散。
另外，不要让后面的学校等。应该一边和这个学校negotiate, 一边继续进行面试。直
到你正式和这个学校签了书面合同，才能通知其他学校撤回你的申请。 |

I have a problem with a loan broker I worked with. Here's my story.
I submitted an offer for a short sale, and bank sent me an unoffical approva
l letter. Then I started working with this loan broker. He prepared for all
the docs, but we still didn't see the official approval letter. During this
period, he ordered the appraisal for me.

简单总结：
1.硬条件是基础：这个靠自己攒（文章，审稿）；引用不是自己可以掌握的，但随着时
间积累一定会上去。 我一年前开始准备时引用只有50+，到今年8月已经有170+
2.RL是关键，也是最花时间的。学校律师要求8封（5封独立且非美国推荐人），个人觉
得还是有其一定道理。因为PL里引用RL的话吹捧比自己说的天花乱坠有用的多，所以大
家要在RL上下好功夫。
