Hawaii Senate Passes Civil Unions

The Hawaii senate passed the final version of a civil unions bill by an 18-5
vote Wednesday afternoon.
The bill will now go to Gov. Neil Abercrombie, who has expressed his support
for it.

Civil Unions actually have some strong and significant bipartisan support in
the Colorado legislature. Coloradans for Freedom, a group of prominent
Republicans, created quite a stir when they came out in favor of Civil Union
legislation. Republicans in Colorado, in many cases (especially in Denver)
are much more moderate than Washington D.C. counterparts. |

2007 and the hourly rate that I am talking about was in 2008. As I said in
my previous post, UAW union was problem before 2008. This is a widely known
fact. I have spent hundreds of hours to study detroit three's SEC report,
balance sheet, and union contracts, and comparison to the toyota plants in
the USA. My conclusion is the detroit three are coming back like a thunder.

UNION。可以保证同性恋者民事结合和异性恋者的婚姻拥有同样的权利。同时又所谓的
不伤害传统婚姻的定义。我想这样的争论还会持续下去，婚姻和民事结合到底有什么不
同。我做了一点简单的功课， CIVIL UNION 和MARRIAGE有以下的不同
1. 移民权，民事结合的对象不拥有联邦政府所承认的移民权利，如果是和美国公民结
婚的话，拿绿卡时一件非常容易的事情。但是民事结合的伴侣，即使注册的话，也没有
任何途径可以移民。
2。免税权，民事结合的伴侣不享有免税的权力。仍然要以两个单身人士的名义报税。
每年至少要多付出几千，甚至上万的税收。
3. 福利权 异性婚姻的伴侣大概拥有 一千多项福利和保护，比如当年一方去世后，另
一方享有SOCIAL SECURITY的权利，当一方伴侣患重病时，可以申请SICK LEAVE照顾对
方的权利，退伍军人家属福利，以及和雇主申请能够覆盖对方家庭医疗保险。当一方伴
侣患重病的时候，能以家属的名义在治疗方案尚签字，甚至当一方去世后，是否能够得
到对方的遗体，妥善安葬。
