目前纠结于2个公司： Rocket Fuel 和 Facebook。 两家公司给我的onsite体验都非常
好， FB不用说大家都知道。RF的话听版里说印度人非常多，但是实际上是中国人也很
多。此外印度面试官人非常nice没有黑我， 很积极的与我交流， 此外我觉得他们家的
engineering team人很少， 素质更高，人也很smart，主要体现在面试题目难度和沟通
问题上。
目前陷入纠结中， 两家offer发的非常顺利。两家Package如下：（计算方式是base *
1.1 + (RSU + sign on) / 4 )
FB: 190k/y + yearly stock refresh
RF: 170k/y + not mentioned stock refresh
本来打算从FB，毕竟package好+自由选择， 但是RF非常有诚意的说可以match甚至beat
， 并且很nice地安排了工程师和founder和我聊天希望我加入。 尤其founder解答了我

直接进入正体吧，今天就是想问他哪里有提高的，他提了以下几点：
1）做事要多想Business，多想insight，别光顾着pull data。例子是上次XXX的东西另
外部门经理问起来要回答的顺，绝对不能说不知道
解读：这个其实以前交待工作的时候就说起过，但是这个说起来简单，做起来谈何容易
。不过确实也是要keep in mind的事情。
2）重点来了，说我要提高accuracy，别老速度快，说速度再快，错了也是白搭。说到
了credibility，说人对人的信任度是长期积累的，但是一旦犯错，很有可能积累再高
的信任度都有可能瞬间被摧毁。说credibility是一个被underrated的一个东西。
解读：我没错几次啊。。但是我想了想，其实也挺赞同，想起有些工作其实做完以后自
己看都没看就交上去，以前都是内部人自己看着，错了还有余地，现在的工作都是交往
其他部门，错了的话。。。后果不能想象。
3）说我趴在桌上睡不professional，如果被大老板看见一定screw up。

没错，但是唤醒汉人的是冉闵，让习惯于被屠的汉人拿起武器反抗把蛮族屠了。这个意

发帖数: 1136 | 22 下面是一个Palo Alto High 学生自己对学校的看法。其实跟其它人所说的也差不多：
竞争激烈，压力大，但是效果不一定好。比如：
1）UC Berkeley 全校平均新生的SAT成绩低于2000.但是从Palo Alto High去的学生平
均成绩是2180. 换句话说一个学生同样的成绩在其它学区能去伯克利的，但是在Palo
Alto就不一定行了。这就像以前在北京能考上大学的分数在山东连大专都没戏。
2）前两年哈佛共录取了三个。并不多。
3）斯坦福录取的，除了“non-legacy and non-affiliated students”,也就是 a
handful。所谓Legacy就是校友和捐钱的大户，Affliated 就是教授子女。
4）好学生太多，老师给GPA太严。AP Test考5分的GPA可能还是D。成绩单拿出去难看。
老师给学生写的推荐信也很不给力。同样的学生在其它学校成绩单好看多了。老师推荐
信也更好。

第一个三连冠的时候杰克逊被人讥讽为搭乔丹顺风车的人
有点被underrate
第二个三连冠Phil底气比较足，而且经验比第一个三连冠
长了不少，气丁神闲的，还出了禅书。个人感觉Phil是需
要队里需要超级天才的，而他的优势就是引导这些天才把
能量发挥到及至并且引领全队达到新的高度。他的三角进
攻有时候似乎好像不存在，比如打爵士那个系列赛，公牛
明显攻的没有老爵士有章法，从这个意义上，似乎又有点
overrate
至于其他名教练，我倒是挺欣赏拉里博得，似乎给全队
注入了一点比赛气质。还有国王现在的教练是不是92年
对公牛的时候开拓者的教头？至于其他牛人暂且不说了
只是觉得Pat好像比较背一点，刚带热队的时候可是61胜啊 |

Gino is overrated now ---- some people have the tendency to overrate/underrate
things relying on insufficient evidance. People all see that Gino got 29 pts

我的几个预测：
1) 马刺跟魔术不可能进final，很可能conf final都没戏。马刺的补强被overrate了，
魔术实际上变弱了。
2）可能夺冠的还是只有三只，绿人，紫金，骑士（+奶奶）。
3）denver被underrate了。明年很可能还是denver是湖人最大的对手。明年很可能是
melo的爆发年，挤进kobe，lebron，wade的第一集团很有可能。三强之外，最有实力的
年轻人，是melo跟kd而不是cp。明年Chauncey会有下降，但不会太多，而他的下降，会
被melo，nene，jr等人的上升抵消。唯一的变数是Anderson。他会不会拿了钱就下降了
？如果Anderson不下降，看好他们西部第二。
4）奇才是个bust。不认为他们能够有什么风浪，进季候就不错了，过不了第一轮。50%
以上，季候都有问题。
5）雷霆要进playoff，durant成为mvp候选，像05-06的brand。
6）10年夏天，很可能没有什么大变动。三分之二以上的自由人，全部留队 |
