邮件传送新闻和其他重要资讯给中国和其他国家的民众。
报导引述美国联邦广播理事会（ＢＢＧ）的报告说，ＢＢＧ去年测试，成功把资料传送
给香港和中国的电邮信箱。去年的测试运用Feed Over e-mail科技 （ＦＯＥ），绕过
中国政府为过滤网路内容所设的陷阱。
报告说，这种科技在各项测试都表现良好。不过，专家说，对于像埃及政府全面断绝网
路连线的情况，这种武器可能没什麽用处。
ＢＢＧ资讯安全主管柏曼说，如果网路中断，什麽都不管用。
