這也難怪。由於紀錄片「黑魚」（Blackfish）影響，愈來愈多人呼籲禁止海洋世界再
讓殺人鯨表演，並阻止海洋世界繼續讓園內殺人鯨繁殖下一代。事實上，加州議會原本
已在討論一項達成上述目標的法案，但最後被「交付研究」，起碼拖一年再議。
卡莉亞2004年12月21日出生，是聖地牙哥海洋世界「土生土長」的大家閨秀。母殺人鯨
通常七至十歲開始生兒育女，卡莉亞已到「找婆家」的時候。園方給牠找來「老牛吃嫩
草」，把牠和全園年紀最大的公殺人鯨「尤利西斯」（Ulises）送作堆，尤利西斯據估
計已坐三望四。牠們2013年7月開始「拍拖」，園方還同時用尤利西斯的精子，給卡莉
亞進行人工受精，果然很快就「有了」。
如果卡莉亞年底順利生產，將是在聖地牙哥海洋世界生產的第七隻殺人鯨，也是該園連
