苏铭德教授是卓有成就的计算流体力学专家。是六十年代被蒋南翔校长誉为“清华一万
个人里才出一个”的尖子学生。毕业后留工程力学系任教。八,九十年代曾赴德国做访
问学者。专长计算流体力学以及湍流的大涡模拟。著有“计算流体力学基础”,“气体
动力学基础”等学术专著。其大涡模拟论文以参考文献的形式被收到Stephen Pope所著
的湍流当代经典教材“Turbulence”一书中。为流体力学学科的发展,做出了他自己的
一份贡献。
苏铭德教授性格开朗豁达,为人谦虚低调。在力学系曾负责流体力学专业核心课程“流
体力学”的本科教学。教过的学生如今应该是桃李满天下。加州那边,应该有不少苏老
师当年教过的学生。
希望加州的校友会能出面帮助苏老师的家属料理后事,给苏老师以应有的哀荣。

vary from symmetric steady flow, to assymmetric steady flow, to
unsteady laminar flow and finally transient to turbulence (with the increasing

藕原本想接着做 level set 的,把 ale 跟 level set 结合起来(站在2009年的角度

但是,机械工程博士毕业前夕,藕突然迷上了理论物理、粒子物理、天体物理,所以,
