The income plays more important factor than the others. Usually the 5%

OK下面假设你是用resident alien的身份来报。假如你是单身的话，既然fellowship你
一分钱税都没交，何来退税呢？行不通。
所以剩下只有这种情况，首先是要夫妇俩file jointly，有一方是拿要交税的工资的（
比如说已经工作了，或者拿的是TA之类的不免税的收入），交了税的；其次是另一方拿
的是fellowship，但没有tuition wavier（也就是说老板给你一份奖学金，但是你得自
己交学校的学费，比如说奖学金-学费之后只剩下几百几千那样子，每年自己要倒贴钱
才能过活）。
IRS pub 970里面写了，用免税的收入来交tuition，那个tuition是不能用来抵税的 。
对于美国人这一点上面没什么文章可作，因为假如老美有fellowship，并且他claim自
己不是用这个fellowship来交的学费，而是用自己或者配偶的其他收入来交，但这也对
他无利，因为老美是没有tax treaty的，fellowship假如不是用来交学费那是不免税的
；所以尽管总收入deduct了tuition，但是 |

The past decade inflation rate is close to 3%, but from 2008~2010 it's low
due to weak economy. This year the inflation is high due to multiple OEs and

it's skyrocket high due to deep budget cut.

$500-1000: it depends on your tuition. If you go to community college, the
tuition is not that high, $500-1000 is not bad at all. |

worth tring if you really want to. Do not forget you may need to take the 2
years of pre-pharmacy most likely. So, that's another 2 years of tuition.

away with more than a diploma, they also left with a record level of student
loan debt.
College seniors who took out loans to fund their college education owed an
average of $25,250, 5% more than the class of 2009 owed, according to a
report from the Institute for College Access & Success' Project on Student

New York University will offer a class next semester on Occupy Wall Street (
possibly two). Perhaps it's an attempt to keep their students in class
making use of their students loans, rather than camped out in Zuccotti Park
and other parks complaining about them.
