。 当然能进这些私立也是因为有校友或者其他connections才行。 光有钱出学费也不
是那么容易进的， 至少得捐个几十万上百万的先混个trustee之类的。
这样的家庭也都是有好几代上中产的底蕴才能做的到。 光个索男一代在美国过个贫困
线， 离人的距离还老大一截呢。
不过这样的家庭， 除非孩子特别有天赋， 机遇也很好的， 否则多少代还只是上中产
， 很难爬的上去富裕阶层的。 bill gates, oracle的创始人， zuckberg基本都是类
似这样的出身， 上中产倾家荡产送进贵族私立的。
真正的富二代比如小章去泡的那个vivi什么的， 基本是全脱产的party animal. 性格
和attitude完全不一样的。 我以前lab有幸见过个这样的summer undergraduate. 一周
的游玩开销顶我一年的stipend, 而且夏天那3个月， 周周有活动， 光一个暑假的花差
就20多万刀， 本版有多少索男2-3代人指望能混到这个境界的。

比方东北这里有好些很有名的贵族私立. 你花钱交学费根本就进不去的.
admission必须要有honorable alumni or trustee的推荐.
怎么拿这个推荐? 捐钱啊, 25万捐几年就拿到了(这些应该都是免税的), 最后名义学费
是税后的, 实际学费的大头都是免税的捐款.
当然, 你要是其他俱乐部混的比较好, 直接认识有power的校董, 就能省好些年的捐助
费.
这就是美国人标榜的connections.
不过真心话, 拿死工资的, 就算你能挣到500K, 还是玩不起这套的.
看看码工贫困线都top 1%了, 但是几个码工养得起游艇的. 沿两个海岸开车过去, 只要
有海有河的地方就有游艇, 很多区的当地房价不过才500K, 800K, 这些游艇都是靠税后
工资养的吗? |

我所在pension的trustee，得了600来票，但是距离第二名还是差了400票，落选。明年
继续选。根据往年的经验，有效选举人基本在一万二左右，投票率在15-20%之间，每次
选两个人，一般要至少1000票才能比较有把握。 |

学费倒是一般贵。 又隔离了圈子， 又逃了税。

午要讲经一个小时。 sigh.

但是实际操作中， 一个是overhead， 一个是利用海外天堂。 实际纳税的比例非常低。
美国红十字会花几十亿在海地盖了一栋楼大家都知道。
美国大部分的民间慈善机构也类似， WSJ有过报道， overhead前10的ngo都>90%。 平
均70% or 60%多。 这些overhead都是各种开销和自肥。
简单的例子。 上流社会生活中最重要的组成部分， 就是party. 开party的场所游艇，
crew, 人员等等开支， 只要挂个慈善募集的名义， 就都是慈善了。 米帝这帮花天酒
地的party animals没有哪天不慈善的。
其次是真正的慈善开销可以掌握在自己的手里。 家族有breast cancer史的就集中力量
攻克。

。我当然能看出他们都分属不同派别，我也能看出他们惊慌的表情，看出他们又被控制
了。但看不出的是谁控制了他们，他们又是谁。但我知道，日本人是最不死不休的一个
种类。有时候这种特点并不是一个优点。懂得放弃，也未尝不是优点。至少，我知道有
一拨是日本人派来的，那些被抓的，让我来辨认的也是被日本人抓的。日本人一直想找
到我先生和孩子，不知道的是他们是否已经控制在他们手里，还是在其他派别手里。
所以，孜孜不倦攻打我的邻居，象818，823或者也是日本人。一度应该是 815，817，
818，819，823都控制在日本人手里，但每天，每时，每刻都会有变化。我其实也无法
断定现在谁控制着他们。如果往外看，今天我们这个小区外边的车很少，但攻击我的电
磁波却响起来了。左右邻居都不象有人的样子。看见813的车来来往往，看见817车库曾

随着社会的逐步发展，越来越多的中国人意识到，对孩子进行“棍棒教育”并不是一个
好的选择。但是在大洋的另外一头，美国人的想法却出现了变化。
据今日美国（USA TODAY）7月21日报道，美国得克萨斯州“三河学区”（Three Rivers
）的学校理事会（School board of trustees）以6-0的投票通过了一条“体罚令”，
学校校长和纪律检察长（behavior coordinator）有权利用“板子”惩罚不听话的学生
。而在此之前，该地区是严禁使用体罚政策的。
目前政策还没有正式实施，但是已经有老师等不及要看到对学生的威慑效果了。
