我自己没搞过大的DIY project，最难的是换了个Intake manifold
只有最基本的工具

I didn't mean the F10 is fully steel, I should have said it more clear.
I read from a website http://www.autozine.org/Archive/BMW/new/5er_F10.html saying F10 has a steel monocoque. Only the outside panels (fender, door panels, hood, trunklid etc) are made of alumnium. It made sense to me as F10 is so much heavier than E60, almost 10% increase in weight. But size grew nowhere near that much.
