Mike Dueker, the chief economist at Russell Investments, was found dead at
the side of a highway that leads to the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington
state, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department. He was 50.
He may have jumped over a 4-foot (1.2-meter) fence before falling down a 40-
to 50-foot embankment, Pierce County Detective Ed Troyer said yesterday. He
said the death appeared to be a suicide.

Body may be person of interest in Mount Rainier shooting, police say

A male body has been found buried in the snow, Ed Troyer with the Pierce
County, Washington, Sheriff's office told CNN on Monday.
Troyer said that it's a strong probability that the body is the "person of
interest" that authorities have been looking for in the shooting death of a
Mount Rainier National Park ranger, but they have not confirmed it yet.

and survivalist skills, was a "strong person of interest" in the slaying of
Margaret Anderson. Authorities recovered Barnes' vehicle, which had weapons
and body armor inside, Troyer said.
Authorities believed the gunman was still in the woods with an assault rifle
