Trolltech Releases Technology Preview of Qt for Windows CE
Redwood, US, 03 October - 2007 - Trolltech? today released an initial
technology preview of Qt? for Windows? CE (Qt/WinCE) to its commercial
customers and the open source community for testing and feedback. Qt/WinCE
is a port of the Qt API and developer tools to the Windows CE operating

看网上说的QT开发还真容易，而且跨平台。我以前工作的地方（大的research lab)有
人用QT，而且很多很牛的开发软件用了QT的build工具
我自己觉得，作为开源开发工具，QT应该比Eclipse好，还是会有很好的市场前景的。
GOOGLE搞了那么多开源的东东，说不定如果NOKIA彻底放弃QT,GOOGLE就把它买了和
ANDROID/CHROME组合下，前景应该很好

同时在搞Symbian, Maemo, 又许诺会出Android的机子
买下的Trolltech不知道是不是也还在开发类似的东西
精力很分散，每个都做得不够好，也会导致品牌内部之间不兼容
自己的用户内部也产生分裂。比如买了Maemo的机子，买了一些程序
后来决定要换到Android，发现之前的程序必须重新买过。。。。
支持起来的费用也很高，又会导致利润下降。

见过吹牛的，没见过这么吹牛的。 Symbian 在架构上超级弱，是从当年为
只有 4 - 8MB Ram 的嵌入设备设计的 EPOC 操作系统改出来的。内存管理，
和进程管理超弱，基本上就不配称为一个真正的操作系统。
Symbian 的开发调试工具也是烂如狗屎。基本上算是移动领域倒数第二差的
(倒数第一差的是 Qualcomm 的 BREW)。就这种水平也敢号称领先一个时代?
真要这么领先 Nokia 就不会开源 Symbian, 买 Trolltech 并重启炉灶搞

我也不知道。不仅chrome，其他的也全是root权限的。也许我安装chrome的时候是sudo
的？但任何软件安装都是sudo阿？其他软件貌似没有这个问题。 |

以前用wxWidgets/wxPython
现在用qt
相比之下qt更成熟，有trolltech/nokia支持，而且有些自己的特色，不过有license限
制。
wxWidget完全免费，基本也能满足需要，不过似乎最近的进展不大。
java swing/awt做图形虽然简单方便，容易上手，但是似乎东西做大了后速度不够。而
且3D基本无望。 |

nokia收购了，然后qt就变成opensource了。今后用qt的会越来越多的，毕竟在c++
cross platform gui framework里，它是领先的，现在又开源了。

刚才查了一下, tmake是需要另外download的, 其实就是一组专门给qt写makefile 的
perl scripts.

如果是专门给qt写makefile, tmake还是挺方便的, 看看写出来的makefile也是一种
