发帖数: 128 | 2 我在室外有几棵majesty palm trees，种在高大的塑料桶里（直径16"，高25")4年了，
本来都长得很好，看起来枝叶茂盛而且很健康，但都在几个月内死掉了。其中一颗是土
表位置的树干烂了一半，后来就齐根断了；还有两颗是所有的叶子逐渐地变黄，死掉。
因为养了4年，感觉自己浇水和雨水没有那么大的变化，能让它们死呀？
还有一棵Bamboo Palm，是种在室内的，在很大的瓷花盆里4年了，本来也长得很好的，
但近几个月不健康的叶子上面长寄生物（圆形，扁的，褐色的）。我把它移到室外，想
着通风好些，但是叶子还是慢慢脱落，变黄，不健康的叶子上面仍然长虫。也许是先长
虫，然后叶子才不健康的。现在整棵树也不行了。
总之，情况是这两种不同的palm trees，都曾经很健康，但四年左右，就不行了。有人
有经验吗？ |

disturbing & sick... cannot tell ... 其中有只小动物盯着火堆忽然 发难奋起团灭
其他happy tree friends那集，我好像有点恍悟，呃，牵强的说想到局外人（ ？）中
因为看到太阳光觉得耀眼杀人的哥们了。。。不过很可也只是我yy而已。。。
filmcow个人觉得更高端点。。。很多台词出听非常random，仿佛周星 星（不过我觉得
比周星吃高端，当然背景也不同），比如，charlie被另外两位unihorn劝说 去xxx的时
候说：oh，guys，or gals,... I dont know who you are... 还有spoon大战另一个厨
具中，spoon士兵（名字忘了）死后上了天堂（new france），为了逃离new france，
伊只好从天堂想法坠落人家，砸到一个斜的铲状厨具，这位胸太以为是被自己砸的，万
分抱歉 ，结果斜头兄弟说：no，it is not you. my head shape |

的一号小厅却人头簇拥得不行。
今年戛纳的金棕榈得主，是Terrence Malick一再跳票的《生命之树》（The Tree of
Life）。年轻的（女）观众们多少也会冲着Brad Pitt和Sean Penn的大名而来吧，虽然
真正的主角应该算McCracken，十几岁的小Penn。
这部在1998年的《细红线》(The Thin Red Line)和2005年的《新世界》(The New
World)后诞生的《生命之树》，从出来后就毁誉参半。两个多小时的片子开放之前，影
院的工作人员居然做完夏季电影周的promo后另外加了一句，大意是，下面要放映的真
的是《生命之树》。为什么要加这个注呢？如果一直坐到片尾并目睹开映后第一个小时
里不断有人离场的情形后，就不会奇怪了。
Malick这位哈佛哲学系本科/牛津哲学系ABD（据说是和导师意见不合呀同学们）后半路
出家的导演作品本来就少，而且这位老兄还是作者(Auteur)派的，喜欢动不动就来点形

板，一共一套2美金。
我想买那个剪刀，看上去很厚实。我觉得剪鱼挺好的。就把这套买下来了。
没想到这两把刀很锋利啊。切胡萝卜一点不费力。太容易了。比家里更贵的刀还好用的。
意外的收获。就这个价格来讲，我觉得我可以强力推荐大家去Dollar Tree买啦。 |

发帖数: 3285 | 21 Rogers pass, 3600多米。爬到tree line的时候，给芒果off leash了。然后trail开始
沿着雪山往上走了，窄窄的，一半都是雪，好上不好下。笨狗还不知道雪山的危险，还
跳来跳去，脚滑了都不知道。其实在森林里就有雪了，小溪还淙淙地流着，有的地方还
挺急的。不过那里的雪还是好走的。雪山壁光秃秃的，看着好像没什么，上去了才发现
是有难度的。
一共应该是超过9迈，3小时50分。到的有点晚，所以走的很赶，不过刚好今天心情适合
大力hiking，所以
一路都很愉快。回来的路上用跑的，芒果追了一回松鼠，还好松鼠上树了，所以他没有
跑远。按照规定的话这里不能off leash，不过我只在没人的时候off的。在tree line
上面的时候我已经没心情也没力气跑，所以只能远远地给芒果拍照。照片只能是这个质
量了，很难想象让我背个单反来hiking，反正对照相没有认真到那地步。
总之这个trail值得一走。下周又要找新目标了。 |

虽然没什么特别好的景色,不过出去走走总是让人心情愉快.
最大的收获是在晚上camping的时候看到了传说中的猎户座(Orion)星云. 还用digital
camera排了下来. 我以前没找到过的说.
至此,我一共去过七个国家公园:

Yellow Stone National Park
Grand Teton National Park
Grand Canyon National Park
Smoky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park
下一个目标是Yosemite, 应该不难实现. |

应该是差不多的做法，你把两个tree都用那个tree_to_vine变成一个基本上sorted的
list，然后就很好merge了，然后剩下就是又用那个vine_to_tree变回到balanced tree
（或者就不管了）。 |

would forget the neighbor-joining method.
Assuming that you have a good alignment with the most biological sense (
functional domain well aligned), good bootstrap value for ML and good
convergence for Bayesian Inference, regarding of the trees that are
generated from those different methods, you may have to distinguish them by
yourself by figuring out which one makes the most biological sense.

问版上做质谱的行家，有重复过Josh coon几年前发表的那个ETD/CID decision tree的
方法吗?就是用ETD碎裂高电荷低M/Z的precursor,其他的用CID. 我最近在Orbitrap
Fusion上试图重复，发现ETD使CID的scan数也减少了很多，最后还不如只用CID。只用
ETD得到的蛋白数比CID少非常多，觉得可能是反应时间设的过长,但是设的短谱图质量
看起来很低。顺便求问如何优化ETD的参数及注意事项等，谢谢！ |

much they value the trade, all you need to know if how it compares to prices
