作为每年给OCEF捐比较多钱的的捐款人，我对我的捐款很放心，不麻烦你操心我的捐款
的安全了。我爱心不够义工做的少。
另外上百万对于一个服务中国地区的有200-300人的机构来讲真的不是很多钱
，不要太紧张了。
心态好像有些奇怪？不担心自己的捐款，倒出来声明“很放心”？有质疑的或是来审计
的，就说一句“不麻烦您了”。
而且还画蛇添足来一句“其实他们钱很少”？

发帖数: 14557 | 23 以前在网上搜过bird feeder，知道lowe's有卖。昨天路过lowe's，就进去了。找了半
天才找到，和鸟食在一起。我买的都是Garden Treasures牌的，好像lowe's和这个品牌
有合作关系。
各种各样的bird feeder摆在那，我就花眼了。最后入了外贸协会，跳了这个
金属铁彩色玻璃，据说鸟喜欢色彩斑斓的东东。容量算较大的，主要是粗一些。缺点是
侧面上没有出鸟粮的孔，鸟只能在底层的盘子上吃食。
然后是选鸟粮，同样眼花。问了店里的一个人，她家里就挂bird feeder。鸟粮袋子的
后面也说什么粮吸引什么鸟。最后我看Garden Treasures牌的wild bird food大袋装减
价，就买了一大袋，里面是杂粮包括没去壳的黑皮葵花籽。
回家就放了点鸟粮进去，今天早上鸟们就知道了，基本就是tufted titmouse和
carolina chickadee，热闹得很。不过小红（Northern Cardinal）对这个鸟食器不感
冒，依旧在阳台上找大米吃。
一开始我在屋里隔着玻璃看，逐渐感觉到鸟们似乎一点都不怕我。决定打开玻璃门，并

非民选的“领导”:
由市长直接指定的是chief of staff和deputy chief of staff，相当于办公厅主任
由民选产生的是treasurer, assessor, judge等等一系列职位。
这些职位可以算作是领导，不过和中国的“领导班子”区别还是挺大的。 |

我也常对美国人说中华文化的好。
有很多次，我对美国人说过：In a way, I feel so lucky to be born as a Chinese
because I can speak, read & write the most ancient language & communicate
with people living several thousand years ago, WITHOUT any translation. I
was born into such a splendid culture, like inheriting a big treasure----
while you were small, you don't realize it.
有两次，我对美国朋友说：I feel so proud of China.
一次是汶川地震后中央政府的救援。
一次是国家颁发限塑令，购物塑料袋要给钱。
这种感情，朗朗不会有。这种话（尤其是英文，呵呵），朗朗可能也说不来。 |
