tires. Well, some tires are expensive for their long tread life while others
might be expensive for performance. As you have only one year left, tread
life should be the last thing you would care. |

还有我刚开始以为换楼梯是买整块木头的 tread，但是来估价的一个师傅还有佳佳地板
那里卖地板的意思，是直接用木地板拼起来加 nosing铺tread和 riser，有人这样做过
吗？感觉是这样跟木地板就不存在配色问题，但是踏步会比较零碎不如整块的踏板好看
吧？
riser我倒是觉得可以买白色的有点对比。 |

订购的楼梯板也是 Prefinished, 我老图懒，想快，就找 Contractor 只装 Treads &
Riser，结果装的时候，毁坏了漆面。虽然 Contractor 从新 Stain 过了，但 stain
的太不匀，我老实在看不下去，Contractor 走后，只好自己 Sand 后再 Stain 过。
另外，我们的楼梯是 Half Open, 装 Hardwood Treads，栏杆的 Balusters 要都去掉
，我们要换成铁的。原来的栏杆太低，需要升高，那么所有的 Newel Posts 也要换掉
。Home Depot 里买的 Newel Posts 都是 Unfinished，所以要 Stain。 |

把家里的 Carpet Staircase 换成了 Hardwood 的。
订做的 Prefinished Treads 和 Riser。本想图快，找了个 Contractor 来安装，结果
毁了一半 Treads 上的漆面，这个 Contractor 只好重新 Sand，重新 Stain，结果也
没省时间，反而弄得很不方便。有几级楼梯没 Stain 好，我老只好自己再 Sand 和
Stain。还不如当初自己做呢。于是呢，楼梯栏杆，就都自己做了。楼梯扶手还是用的
以前的，栏杆和柱子都换新的了。 |

书，晕了，这书真是公道，没有一个定论，因为个人差异太大了，没有最好的步频，
180不见得最好，没有最好的落地，没有最合适的鞋子类型，统统是因人而异。
但是书中提了，overstride一直是新手的问题，也就是脚落地在你自己的膝盖前。这个
大家新人可以检查一下。
扯远了，回到选跑鞋。
1）不要被鞋店里的小二给忽悠了，很多文章指出他们按照pronation，arch 高度选鞋
是不对的，基本上和双盲的结果是一样的。推荐给你鞋垫，因为那是他们最profitable
的东西。哈哈。
2）每个人都是pronation，这是正常的，这不是毛病，也不是你会受伤的原因。
3）每个鞋，无论是VFF还是厚底鞋都会影响你的gait和running form，只要有东西在你
脚丫和地面之间，它就会有影响。
4）现代人从小就穿鞋的，鞋对跑步肌肉神经mind都有深远影响，开始跑步的状态和原
始人很大不同了。不要觉得自己一定要学原始人。

开始上游泳课了，目的是为了纠正一些动作。
Class 1
Freestyle, 主要是要high elbow pull， 还有手指要并拢。
backstroke: 基本上是我的最弱项，除了蝶泳以外。基本上要从新学起。
breaststroke: 换气的时候，头出水不要太多，这样可以游的长一点。
water treading: 做了7分钟的 water treading, 觉得在open-water里会很有用的。
下课后，500y pull.

个，不能refresh 或hit back ，否则号就作废，15 分钟后排到55 位，系统死了，欲
哭无泪，只能刷新，又被排到60 位， 到30 号的时候，猛地发现报错了班：报到高级
班，再哭.....
40 分钟后终于进入了系统，完成繁兀的第一次用户的注册过程抢到了名额，
送钱上门还这么憋屈。报了个中级班，到四月底开课时候，我的自学初级该能合格
了！现在祈祷老师是个大美女！
不过TI 可能白学了...应该有很多动作类似，

本来看了之前的回帖，晚上已经在网上看wetsuit warmer了，看了这个Aqua Sphere
Juniors' Stingray Core Warmer - Orange - 6T。正因为不够厚犹豫要不要换个更厚
的，又看到大家后续的回帖，更纠结了。
上课的所有孩子都穿普通泳衣，没人穿warmer。儿子上了一节课，也没生病。
第一节课，其他家长都坐很远的看台上，只有我一个，在儿子游到对面的时候跟过去。
另一个韩国妈妈拿浴巾包了孩子。
主要因为儿子四岁，其他四个孩子看起来6-9岁不等，都比他游得好，至少treading
water都很好，不担心溺水。儿子treading water不好，个头又小，怕他危险，我就跟
着。我这样跟着是不是不太好？老师没有提意见，对儿子也很关照。我想我就拿浴巾，
在他跳水不敢跳等其他人的时候包一下。warmer暂时先不买。 |

level 1是baby and parent, level 2小朋友独立上，接触水，能blow bubble，level
3能扑腾一两米，换不过气时能翻过来仰面，能到水下捡东西。level 3之前都是小水池
，水温高。level3 还没学会自由泳换气，treading water也刚接触，可会可不会。这
个水平离会游差很远。
从level 4开始才对treading water、自由泳换气有要求，换到大水池。其实学的动作
在小水池也可以，但课程就是这么安排的，可能场地有限，小水池同一时间还有下面3
个level的课，排不开吧。我倒宁愿继续在小水池上，孩子暖和。 |

但still V>RL的情况 － 比如一个5.5的对手大力抽一拍上旋过来，以至于以你4.5的水
平都不习惯。
但你后来clarify的，能看清球的tread， 那我说的类似golf ball的飞行原理就不可能
适合（golf球的dimble导致boundary layer变成turbulent，所以分离点变晚，所以
wake变小，所以飞行阻力变小，所以轨迹更flat)。 飞行速度低的时候，turbulent
boundary layer不会出现，出现了也不会对速度有太多影响。
tread偏向一边导致turbulence： 我不觉得这个关系存在。 （造成一定的turbulence
drag： 这个说法有误）
球看似上旋转的不那么明显但enough for magnus effect： 我觉得这个是对的。 |

一个中文翻译，结果是这样：埃斯库罗斯的阿伽门农有两个地方提到迎接他的地毯的颜
色，分别是在希腊文的第910行和946行附近，一句话是阿的老婆说的，一句是阿伽门农
自己说的。两个英文版本一个是loeb series里面 herbet smith翻译的老版本（1930年

比较WS，知道是该换了，可是看着还有很深的tread，想着是否能再撑一段时间。看来
象我这样开的不多的，不用买这么长tread life的胎。
难道大家都是只开六年或者根本开不到六年都磨光了？ |

发帖数: 13752 | 48 昨天自己把SUV的冬季胎换下来，把四季胎换上去。开车十多年，
还是第一次自己动手换胎。说说作为一个新手的心得体会：
1. 换胎的准备工作不算小，准备了jack/jack stand, tire
chock, torque wrench, 十字wrench, 把lug nuts adapters,
lug nut lock adapter找出来。这些少一个都不好使。
2. 换的注意事项也不少。换每个wheel时，先要把每个lug
nut松开，再把车jack起来，取下lug nuts，卸下冬季胎，
放上四季胎，拧上lug nuts，松开jack把车放下来，再用
torque wrench拧紧lug nuts。松开和拧紧lug nuts有一定
的次序，松开第一个后，再松开对面一个。我的wheel有五
个lug nuts，要按一个star pattern来松开和拧紧。
3. 要注意胎是不是symmetric/asymmetric以及
directional/non-directional。我的四季胎是symmetic
和non-directional，这种最简单。要把四个wheel编上
