发帖数: 199 | 6 我个人的感觉civil的，特别是transportation的还是在国内混比较有前
途，除非你一心
想出来那个phd然后做faculty。如果是在industry混，phd基本没有什么优势,而且一般
也就是做个普通的engineer，大部分人一辈子也就最多升到project manager级别，在未
来的发展空间上无法和国内相提并论。按中国的发展策略，发展速度和资金投入，交通
在国内的繁荣至少还有10-20年以上，而在美国也就是一个夕阳工业，饿不死也么有大的
发展。
而在美国做faculty现在的形势也越来越严峻，90年代和00年左右出来的那帮读phd的一
批人现在已经在美国高校里面占好了位置，大部分已经拿到tenure或者即将拿到tenure
。这帮人喜欢找国内学生做phd，这样也造成这几年美国transportation这边的中国phd
人数激增。美国经济目前很差，同时civil的position本来就不多，每年基本上就那么多
坑，现在因为budget的原因更加少。越来越多的supply造成demand相对大量减少和竞争
的空前激烈（据我所知，很多学校的最后的candidate超过 |

In this scenario, electrophoretic mobility is too low, therefore
electron transport is of interest.
