alcoholic, they will not quit drinking even after transplant. Why the tax
payer pay such a lot of money for nothing? Some patients are hepatitis C
and end stage liver disease. Most of hepatitis C are from drug abuse. Liver
cancer patients get transplant and they still can not survive long.
2.Pancrease transplant is not necessary because there is insulin there. But
they are still doing a lot.

quite different from your report here.
About 1 - I like your point about alcoholism; I would not donate my liver to
any alcoholics for sure. On the other hand, decompensated liver can be
caused by lots of etilologies, including PBC, HBV, HCV, liver cancer,
medication overdose, alcohol abuse of cause, and so on and so forth. Lots of
patients can live quit a long time after the surgery.
