WLC+ LAP，2个ssid-->layer2 swithch--> router--> ASA ----> internet.
一个ssid, 可以上互联网，ping, telnet, http, everything.
另外一个，可上，但是只能，ping, tracert, telnet, ftp et al. but not http!!
初步看了一下，不是ASA, 没有任何对http 和 那个ssid 对应的网络的限制。
DNS 也换过，反正不论怎么换，结论全一样。
不用sniffer, 如何trouble-shooting this:) |

前面2个客服也比较nice，
然后呢，
说到traceroute的时候，客服说这个time是incremental的，但是我说是each hop的，
后来跑来一个女的又说是incremental的，粗鲁了一下。呵呵。
我觉得吧，虽然是个简单问题，但是这个time是怎么算出来的呢？TTL只能算多少跳吧
，每一跳的时间怎么算呢？好奇啊。

I was assuming peering at multiple locations so iBGP is involved.
If the customer only gets a default route, why use BGP? There are a lot of (
cheaper) ways to do outbound load balance via multiple WAN links.
For some reason my ISP has been pointing default at AS3549 (Level3) for the
past few months... All outbound traffic goes to AS3549 while inbound traffic
arrive via different peers (AS3549, AS6939 etc.) The first hop/last hop is

都可以，
tracert只分别看到别的一个next hop，
192.168.1.254
192.168.2.254
netmask 255.255.255.0,
然后把192.168.1.10 ethernet 线给拔了，
我的ping 192.168.2.10 也断了，为什么？

刚才一手痒把asus自带的rom升级到1.0.1.4，结果杯具了。
浏览器上不了网。（在每次改完router设置后的几秒钟是可以访问网页的，然后不行）
让我百思不解的是，tracert 却可以的。
机器是Windows 7 64 bit。
有没有人有类似情况？ |

关闭dhcp server之前ping router 1的话会显示 192.168.1.1 time out
现在显示reply from 192.168.1.100: destination host unreachable
tracert www.google.com显示是到了router 2然后router 1，然后modem，然后去了isp

netstat只是告诉你当前本机建立的tcp/ip connections, 包括本机
端口, remote地址和端口. (by Minstrel)
7.ipconfig(Win)
显示当前IP的详细信息。

及其他的相关的server, port number:1863.但是无论用ping 还是tracert,都不能得到它
们的response. 而是“Request timed out".
不是说如果ping有问题，说明网路不通，可是我的msn messenger明明在连着这些server
呀。
那位有经验的说个理。 |

Diagnosis:
Ping to www.yahoo.com, no problem
TraceRT to www.yahoo.com, indicating routing no problem
Telnet to somewhere, failure. Error: Can not.... on port ##
Use IE, failure. |

MSN can be logged-in and the list of friends can be seen. But both IE and
Firefox don't work. (no connection)
PING and TRACERT cannot send any packet (error code 5) but they are able to
resovle the domain names into IP address. |

usually just tracert to the destination and figure out where the
last a couple of hops are... if that IP has a domain that would be great.
but sometime, you just don't get clue, for example, some ISP maybe a
country wide, they may have same class IP, but used in different locations.
So it is hard to figure out the geographic location of certain node.
do u mind give the IP and I can have a try |

试了chrome, IE, firefox都是同样的问题。
时好时坏。有时候突然好了，有时突然就坏了。
不能访问的时候，所有的Google网站都不能访问比如www.gmail.com, google drive等
。DNS没有问题，能得到www.google.com的IP地址。
试了一下tracert www.google.com, 第二跳好像就不行了。
是不是有什么软件block了google?
