得有点不爽。
房子的价格貌似也比同样plan的其他房子要便宜一些（ps，新房）
我知道高压线是大家尽量避免的，不知道手机塔是否可以接受呢？ |

，这个Cellular Tower 的辐射强度有多大(尤其是离得这么近的情况下),它与普通的背
景辐射（比如WIFI，Cell Phone）差别有多大? |

LOT 2 离CELL TOWER 1 mile, LD 说没事，但我觉得还是近。
怎么办？ 大家说说多远的距离算安全？买了个测辐射的meter刚到，抽空去去不同的小
区测测。

发帖数: 983 | 42 OAK PARK 10 MILE以北是犹太人聚居的地方，LINCOLN TOWERS旁边的APARTMENT比较多
苏联犹太人，LINCOLN TOWER应该比较多老人住，听过打劫商铺的，但打劫个人的就没
听过，但不远的9 MILE治安就比较差，有行人在附近被抢过。OAK PARK 10 MILE & 9
MILE之间是伊拉克库尔德族人的聚居地。9 MILE之后就是黑人的地方了，但无论是什么
人的聚居地，OAK PARK都是一个小生意人的集中地，有不少在家做生意的人。
MADISON HEIGHTS是亚洲人的聚居地，有越南，韩国，菲律宾，老挝和中国人，喜欢中
国食品的同学可能会喜欢哪里多些，因为这里有最齐全的中国商店，包括杂货，中药，
餐馆，饼屋，手机，理发，美容，餐具和书店。治安比OAK PARK 好些，MADISON
HEIGHTS的APARTMENTS算是比较便宜的。

人。看到一条长长的队伍，不知就里的同伙就要赶去排队。俺开玩笑说是排队领救济，
果然回来的人报告是Salvation Army. 其实看看Seattle的Homeless，好像也很有style
，背着REI的防水背包，显得人很fit。
underground tour关门，看到一白色建筑，就是地图提到的Smith Tower有俯瞰Seattle
water front最好的观景台。 Smith tower是Seattle最早的摩天大厦，电梯依然是当
初的设计，要有穿制服的专人操纵，也算是一景。观景台的所在是电梯所到的最高层，
叫Chinese Room，房间里有古老的中式家具，地毯和彩色磁砖装饰的ceiling。房间四
周一圈窗户，窗户外一圈栏杆围绕，窗户和栏杆之间是一整圈的观景台。正对着大海方
向的窗下很醒目地放了一张椅子，如果椅子是对着窗户，正好坐着看风景，偏偏它是背
对大海，面朝房间内。我一边坐椅子上，一边还在想，咱中国这么古老的椅子摆在这么
显眼的位子，按照男尊女卑的规矩，恐怕是不许我 |

月底），之后可以续约。

非常漂亮和安全的community，人都很友好素质高，老黑劳模很少；weekdays有免费
shuttle从公寓到附近的地铁站(West Falls Church)接送来回，适合不开车的上班族，
如果开车，DC一带的热闹地方基本都在十几二十分钟车程内；楼下有早上7点到晚上11
点的管家服务，类似旅馆前台，什么问题都可以去找他们；生活机能很好，公寓对面有
两片plaza，走路30秒就到，超市（Whole Foods，Trader Joe’s）餐厅（各种风格）
银行健身房理发店按摩店手机店什么都有；公寓里面也有健身房、游泳池、有氧运动房
、杂货店、理发店等等；公寓非常干净，房间里面不存在蟑螂老鼠等问题，比起VA很多
