the map!
btw, they can also drop you at Royal York in front street near Union station,
which is not far away from the consulate general either, if u r coming
from outside of Toronto. |

so i can stay in some surounding area. someone said the parking is not free
in most downtown hotels which is probably more expensive too. i won't have
much time, so just plan to stay anywhere convenient to access highway then
drive to the embassy for visa, probably visits the falls on my way back
Buffalo. not sure about the traffic condition in Toronto... |

I have a friend's friend. She wants me to buy a ticket for her flying from
Toronto to Beijing. For some reasons, she can't buy the ticket herself.
However, I am in USA and called a few local agents and they told me they don
't provide such service.
Thus, I am wondering how I can buy ticket from USA for her. I checked the
Canada air website. The official price is $1900, too expensive. Thus, I am
thinking probably agent is better.

checked and I was also asked to fax a detailed disctription of my research
to the consulate. I was told that the checking procedure would not start
until they got the fax. A friend did it for me on Thursday.

fax? If not, how can I know whether they got the fax or not? Thanks.

Seems all other types of visa appointments are available on the website, why
they won't release for B1/B2? Is it really important when making
appointment, we choose the right type of visa? Where in the record it will
show the visa you choose, or everything will be filled out by ourselves
