发帖数: 2325 | 15 我倒是觉得javascript 不难学。 但是debug起来太苦。敲错一个字， 用一大堆的
alert 才能找到。另外还需要跟server side(servlet) 一起debug. 如果server side
也有用到html 的id， 跟是痛苦。小应用还行， 大了我觉得真是没法。当然即使用
toolkit 生成js, 懂一些javascript也好。 |

看了一个youtube video, 估计是一个google 员工的presentation, 号称很多好的
feature, 比如 制动生成html/ajax code, run on multiple browsers, 还可以在
eclipse 内部debug。
于是在eclipse 中装了一个。 生成那个hello gwt user 的starter application,
倒是developer mode 可以run.
失望1. Deploy 到tomcat 上complain "need to recompile", google 了很多，试验
了很多tip也不行
失望2. 生成的代码size 很大 18M. 而我自己写的html, javascript/ajax, css,
servlet 才3M.

因为是community开发模式，版本的兼容性是一开始就存在的问题。
自从ajax被微软正式支持以后，ajax RC或者CTP本身兼容性好多了，但是control
toolkit还是非常麻烦的东西。而且control toolkit缺乏一个像样的documentation和
底层的tutorial，让初学者和想进一步开发自己的extender的人很不方便。我觉得与其
把一些
toolkit标准化，不如把编写extender的代码封装化，简化。toolkit是ajax最吸引人的
元素，但也是最危险的部分。我仍然觉得目前在production代码里使用toolkit不明智。
toolkit自己的版本兼容问题很烦，不能直接reference dll，要考到bin目录让vs自己
识别。deploy也有一些潜在的麻烦。

1.1.1.2)， 但是没有MySQL workbench。－－－是不是只要有MySQL Migration
toolkit就可以转换了。（Access 2003 database to MySQL），但是这也就限制于数
据转移而已。要在网上那个实现那个Access数据系统的其他功能，我还需要做其他工作

one OS的开发效率也高,比如同一个component的driver,toolkit,开发一次就行了,
全公司其他所有platform如果硬件上用到了一样的component, 软件上就可以共用已经
写好了的toolkit. 而cisco四个OS版本得用四个码工写四套toolkit.....以此类推
所有的feature sets, 基本上花四套人力物力做同一件事情. 当然，cisco有得是钱。 |

的。IOS-XR怎么和IOS share code？两个的内核都不一样。一个是multi process，另
一个是单一的one process address space。
关于driver，one OS， one OS，好处就是在于modularity控制得很好，不同的
platform都使用同一个component的toolkit，platform dependent的code就是负责把
API套上完事，工作量很小。component feature要改，也只是改toolkit。但三套
source code的OS就得写三套toolkit，除非真如你所说，想个什么法子几套source
code之间能share，这个so far是不是还没能做到？ |
