第一日，从中到西
我们在Missouri上学，地处中部，一个很尴尬的地区，middle of nowhere，四周的景
点去哪都要花上一段时间，第一天我们一早从Missouri出发，花了10个小时到达Denver
。准备第二天去Rocky Mountain National Park.
Tips:加油在Kansas境内加好，科州的油价普遍要高。
如果去Rocky mountain 住在Loveland 或者 Fort Collins是个不错的选择，高速1
小时到Rocky Mountain，但是hotel要便宜很多
去resturants.com上买 饭店的gift card.我们花了4块买了25块的gc，吃了一顿超
级不错的晚饭。
如果不得已要走I70,建议准备好超多的cd或者mp3，把可以讨论的话题写好在纸上
，不是吓你们。kansas里面那段路 那个无聊啊！！！！你会见识到最boring的一段高
速。而且有段kansas的路是tol |

候，凭借照片和录像记录的片断，轻描淡写地记下这7天漂泊海上的日子。（图片慢慢
附上，太多了，得慢慢挑）
背景：5个人，小夫妻，加不到2岁的孩子，加孩子的爷爷奶奶，定了2个房间，爷爷奶
奶住有阳台的，小夫妻就住对门inside stateroom，从纽约出发。
启航：
在感恩节之后的这个星期一，纽约的天气完全没有冬天的意思，温暖的阳光让人们甚至
没机会穿上大衣。5个人，两个大箱子，一个随身小箱子，一个随身小包，外加孩子的
小车，我们订了一个Mini Van的出租车，订的时候就说好，车费是100加tol.l fee，我
们用上了自己的ez pass，最后算来连小费，约120。Check-In 的时间是从12点开始，
本着中国人优秀的准时习惯，我们11点便在新泽西坐上了开往码头的出租车，一路上，
也只花了40分钟。
去巴哈马7夜的游轮总是停靠在88号码头，下车后，便能看到巨大的轮船，漆着跳跃鲜
艳的花纹，巨大的Norwegian Jewel几个字赫然跃入眼中。码头的光线并不是很好，将

对于LOTR同样也是见仁见智.区个人很喜欢,虽然到目前为止只看了前传和第一部,以及第
二部的开始.在前传当中,Tolken的目的还是比较简单的,就是说故事.到了LOTR,区感觉Tol
ken已经不愿意做一个说书人了,而是想要创造历史.所以出现了大段冗长的背景介绍,对于
人物和事件的叙述更注重于它的客观性,尽力做到将与之相关的丝丝缕缕都理清楚.许多人
物的语言也用到了诗或古英语才会出现的词句.这在Tolken的Unfinished Stories中更为
明显(此书是Tolken嗣后由其后代整理发表,书中勾画了整个middle age的宏大的历史画卷
,可惜Tolken没能完成这样浩大的工程).
电影也拍得不错.将许多场景都具象化的不错.象比较经典的Balrog的出场,以及Dark
Knight的穷追不舍.导演的功力很高.当然也有区觉得不好的地方.比如,ring会潜移默化其
持有者的心智.影片中,带上戒指就出现一个莫名其妙的裂口,让人很分特.心理的描写述诸
文字比较简单,形象化不容易,也够难为导演的了.
