resting, I would recommend you to see an orthopedic doctor since it is
basically a clinical diagnosis of stress fracture on physical examination
with localized pain to palpation and swelling.
The tibia is the major weight-bearing bone in the leg. Tibial stress
fractures are common in athletes and nonathletes who suddenly increase their
physical activity.

节都有声音。平时如果活动多了，就会膝盖不能伸直或者不能弯曲。但是通常，休息休
息就好了。前几天右膝盖忽然不能伸直了，并且到了比较严重的程度，连续几天都不好
。这才去看医生。照了X-ray 和 MRI.以下 是MRI的分析结果。
骨科大夫建议右膝盖手术，他说手术中会：
1）清理骨头表面，让它更光滑
2）清理关节腔内的各种碎片。。。
不知道是不是真的应该动手术。看病折腾了这么几天，现在不知不觉中，右腿又可以伸

possibilities (listed in the likelihood from higher to lower):
1. lumbar spinal stenosis seems able to explain every symptom he has, but it
was not shown on MRI you described. Another possibility is that arteries
supplying lumbar level nerve roots are abnormal. In non-invasive
examinations, CT/MR angiogram might help diagnosis in the latter case.

面的肌腱水肿，长久发展下去就会影响骨骼，甚至stress fracture。PT早就告诉我要
歇，我也一贯当作耳旁风，这下终于老实了。今天被按摩得叽哇鬼叫，不过事后走路确
实觉得轻松许多，右小腿疼的地方摸上去也不那么疙疙瘩瘩了。这个礼拜还要再去两次
，看治疗效果再决定什么时候恢复跑步。看来有伤还是不能硬挺，我就生拖了3个礼拜
还是没扛过去。这几天先休息加冰敷，如果下个礼拜还是不能跑的话就只能砸银子去
gym游泳了。不过离纽约还有6周左右，希望还能来得及再跑一次20迈。 |

stretch和strength的联系。因为不想停下来，过去一周还是坚持跑了3天，只是大大减
少了距离。
星期二跑步机上慢跑2mi，加了两个intervel，大概一共就3mi的样子。没觉得有问
题。
周四为了不浪费好天气，马路上跑，本来想加点距离，结果到3.6mi开始有疼痛，
收工。那次感觉不好，虽然做了半天准备活动，可左腿小腿肌肉已开始开跑不久就很僵
硬。
休息两天，今天早晨特意定了个离家近的路线，准备受伤的话能快点儿回家。不过
心里还是希望能跑长一点儿，哪怕4、5mi。结果没跑2mi就不行了。垂头丧气的回家了。
感觉ITBS比上周有所加重，而且开始shin splints的一些症状，整个左腿的
iliotibial和tibial都有问题。回家在网上跑板、google和youtube了半天，感觉信息
太多，不是很有针对性，效果也无从预计。不知道这里的大牛们能给出什么有效的建议。
很惊讶这里有人带着伤还能跑race，我怎么觉得膝盖一疼就根本跑不了了啊。哎，

Distance: 26.67 mi because of the pit stop.
Initially I was planning to just run half because of
posterior tibial tendon injury. Early in the morning
walking to the start from hotel, I could still feel
the pain. I put on some KT tapes, and it helped a bit.
My friend started at wave 2, and I went to find the other
gang, but nobody's there. Fortunately, I met 小龙和小龙妹
close to my start. I started at the end of wave 4 trying
to take it easy.

VFF 穿了2个多礼拜了， 也有反映了， 后跟两侧（一天前是2侧， 今天是单侧， 外侧
） posterior tibial （刚查的） 的地方有点涨痛，就是forefoot 站立姿势用的地方

你把痛点分的很细致，我再白话一下，你看对不对
1、膝盖骨上缘跟四头肌连接处疼，属于patellofemoral pain syndrome （PFPS /
runner's knee）
2、膝盖骨下边缘疼，也就是跟Patellar Tendon（髌骨韧带）连接处，这属于jumper
knee（中文称膝盖韧带炎）。
3、如果痛点再往下一个拇指宽度的地方，也就是Patellar Tendon下端，连接Tibial
Tubercle （胫骨结节）的地方，称为Osgood Schlatter disease （胫骨结节骨软骨病
？），常见于青少年。
照这么说，我感觉是第3类，也就是胫骨结节骨软骨病。不管怎么说，这几类病治疗和
恢复都差不多，看起来以后要增加举杠铃的训练项目，提高臀大肌和股四头肌的力量。
另外，问一下，这一个月，主要在游泳，每周3、4次，每次1-1.5小时，1500-2500码，
大部分蛙泳。不知道蛙泳频繁蹬踹是否对恢复有所影响

发帖数: 215 | 38 从sports medicine回来了。拍了X-RAY，没有明显的骨裂或者骨折。反正是未见异常。
可能是posterior tibial syndrome, 也有可能是stress fracture, 医生说，如果想知
道确切原因，要进一步MRI，保险cover前是1800刀，他觉得没有必要，不值得。让我穿
CAST BOOT或者BRACE，我觉得前者太丑了，挑了后者，医生说，如果还是不行，还是要
CAST BOOT.
提到周日的比赛，他说，现在症状不明啊，有可能有stress fracture, 有可能没有。
风险自己承担。最坏的有可能骨头就broken啦。最差的就是更痛。我是想着把跑步坚持
下去的。我想着这几天的功夫，很难恢复吧。心里挺难受的，跑了两个多月，就是想实
现自己的一个目标的。现在不行了。安慰自己一下吧，暂时的放弃是为了更长久的坚持。
另外，还有发现有个地方，就是PF上端那个骨头我有个EXTRA BONE，正常的，很多人也
是有这个，但是这个部位容易骨裂，反正是让我注意。
希望能尽量早点好。我觉得对我自己而言，这次受伤并不是由什么特别鲁莽的行为导致

复习的效果，从前辈的考经中学到很多。所以，本贴得唯一目的是：希望能给还在准备
step1的朋友们一点提示，吸取我的教训，都考出一个好成绩。
正文：
我是8/06/2012考的Step1，昨天（8/29/2012）早上9:19am拿到成绩---242/85，还
好，和自己估计的成绩240 +/- 5基本一致。万分感谢我的家人的理解和支持，十分感
谢曾经一起学习的战友们和校友们的鼓励和帮助，感谢麦地版的前辈们的考经和经验介
绍。曾经许诺一旦成绩上了230，就写一篇考经，下面就把我的备考经历和一点心得体
会向麦地版的战友们作一汇报，也算是对自己这段人生的一个总结：
一、题库、模考及考试成绩+时间：
UW qBank: 正确率最早25%，考前80-90%
Kaplan qBank: 只做了解剖、遗传，没有统计正确率

A 70-year-old man comes to the physician because of knee pain that has been
present for 10 years. He is unable to comfortably walk further than one
block and has difficulty sleeping because of the pain. He has pain on both
medial and lateral sides of the knee. Range of motion is from 15 to 100
