with onlywords unrelated to thinking, such as "high" and "plane."

Thinking in C++这本书怎么样啊?
以前写过一点C++,学的时候用的是随便找的国内出的那种中文书(类似于什么“C+
+教程”啊之类的)。
最近准备重新把C++好好修炼一下,把这本Thinking in C++(以前买的,一直没读)
找出来读,现在才读了一百多页,觉得写得整个儿一科普风格,完全不像给编程的人看
的教材。
正在考虑要不要换到去读The c++ programing language.

我都不好意思往细讲,
邓亚萍这种一般专访,往往都是提前有访问提纲的,邓亚萍估计事先都背过台词了,无
赖基础太差,还会连续说出“i have to thinking”这类可笑的语法错误。
反正这个准剑桥博士(这个采访当时她好像还不是剑桥博士,这点我不太确定,我懒得
回看核实了),说出这个“i have to thinking”,是太那个了,我不好意思用“丢脸
”两个字,毕竟她曾是奥运冠军。

从小党妈就告诉你,月亮是方的。你看见明明是圆的,也说是方的,能有什么思辨能力
?久而久之就对真相不敏感了,而只信书,以书本为统一标准。critical thinking第

从小党妈就告诉你,月亮是方的。你看见明明是圆的,也说是方的,能有什么思辨能力

critical thinking是应该在大学重点培养的东西,教你怎么在社会上,科学的前沿分
析不同来源的信息,不被社会上真真假假的信息所误导,坚持自己的探索。相信根据,
相信证据。GRE考试里都有critical writing. argument writing。 可见对此的重视。
中国教育也有critical thinking的教育,不过是在小学二年级。 有一篇课文叫做小马
过河。“小马想过河。松鼠说,水太深了,进去就淹死。 大象说,水太浅,刚过脚面
。”,之后都是要求你服从。 中国研究生考试还考你政治。你思想上不服从,剥夺你
受教育的机会。
中国的问题是,在小学教大学该教的东西。 在大学反而才教小学生该有的常识。

ibeyond, your discussion about the inflation threat has been very good,
however, I don't agree with your argument that recent years are comparable
with 1970 and we could have a stagflation. Of course if we are going to have
a stagflation then stock market will be slaughtered. However, I think the

I am not sure if it can be pulled up back to 1070 or not in the next
week, but I think a major correction is finally here.
If it is what I think it is, 950 is an easy target, and we might be

No. I don't think she is selfish. I don't think it's a matter of selfishness
or selflessness. It's a matter of taking life's bitterness head on or
swerving around in seeking a better life (as far as we could see at the time)

权威。:)
首先,很多领域,很难量化甚至无法量化。这个作者是同意并且有提及的。比如股市,
就是他举的一个难预测难量化的例子。他曾经应邀分析过一个公司过去二十年业绩最好
的基金操盘手
,发现他们performance完全不consistent,完全随机,和你那个猩猩的例子差不多。
这个例子被用来说明在有些领域,专家的经验,不管他们用什么数据倒腾什么模型,
都是没用的。
那专家的经验在什么时候会有用呢,在判断能得出立刻反馈的领域,比如说围棋,判断
是否准确输赢能马上告知。或者消防员,判断是否准确,火有没有被灭掉花多长时间被
灭掉能马上反馈,在这些领域,专家意见是值得重视的。
整本书大量强调think statistically, 但作者绝对没有依靠数据完全能让人做出正确
决定
的意思。首先运用数据做决策不同于他讲的think statistically. 后者强调同样类型
的project要放在大环境比较其可行性。光是自己拿着数据跑,只从*一个*project里分

我觉得,环境对大众thinking pattern 应该很关键,否则洗脑成功不了。。
个体来说,
其实nonlinearized thinking 非常重要,但是我认为应该是不可训的,是天生的。
Linear vs non-linear 其实也都是度的问题,不好说。。。。。
