famous. It doesn't matter currently. The really
famous name is: " Northwestern institute of telecomm.",
you can find it even in Northwestern Univ.'s world
university catagory. If in the future, more and
more papers are published by authors from Xidian,
and all of them claim they are from "Xidian Univ.",
then "Xidian" will be famous. At that time, if

intel搞出来的东东，一般好点的server，desktop, laptop里面都有，
用renesas的h8 MCU
renesas的人常吹的一件事就是别人10多年才庆祝一下某芯片出产多少million, 丫们几
乎年年庆祝.到也不是吹牛
telecomm行业里叫ipmc，接口叫ipmi
一般用LPC bus和主机系统连接
用standby power供电
管一切CPU不管或者没电时没法管的事情
比如电池管理，power button, reset button, fan control, intrution control, te
mp sensor, voltage control, fru info等等
一般fan有四根线，12v，GND，fan tacho和PWM input
BMC可以通过fan tacho信号了解fan的转速
如果thermal sensor超过critical threshold,BMC的缺省反应就是提高转速。
ipmi是标准接口，linux肯定支持的。 |

这种极度需要硬件performance的场合不多，而且走不了volume。
硬件实现功能coding起来比软件难度大,verification也繁琐，上手不易。现在C->Hls
做出来的结果又比较耗cell资源，没啥优化。
fpga主要还是靠telecomm，defense， aerospace市场 b2b。其他小众的应用加起来不
到revenue的5%。走volume的应用（用户终端设备），功能要求比较简单，基本都找
asic。
据说以后在汽车上想搞智能camera. |

Wireless is hot now, but it is exaggrated by those brokers, I think.
Qualcomm's Stock is growing too fast, maybe its experience will be
just like Internet stocks.
I am too lazy to write too much about these technical terms.

的产品，常常用fpga
这个fpga课主要是讲什么的？rtl design,还是面向fpga的合成？
embedded system，也是军民都用

不过可以定位再高一些，top10。再差的有些不值得折腾，申不上就继续工作呗。或者
可以考虑mba啥的。
我知道一个牛人，master毕业做application engineer，两年后转做analog design，
两年后觉得没挑战又去top3读了telecomm的phd。毕业后直接去了花街。可能是终于找
到喜欢的事，也赶上了好时候，几年前就财务自由了。
