well, it's unfair, because Jeter missed a lot of games. But after

Tejada lift the A's offense. But you just cant deny that Soriano also change
the Yankees' offense. He leads the AL in XBH,SB,RUN with .300+ avg, 100RBI.

排名，攒了个自己的ranking list就上了。

一般人对所谓money ball的了解, 可能主要是从Brad Pitt的那部电影和Michael Lewis
的原著里面.
而Paul DePodesta就是Jonah Hill在电影里的那个角色.
这部电影和大部分好莱坞所谓"based on true story"的东西一样, 离true story肯定
是差了十万八千里的.
而Michale Lewis的原著, 我个人对里面的一些说法也不是很信服.
无论是原著还是电影, 都提到两个人, Bradford和Hatteberg, 据说这两个人都属于在
MLB里找不到工作的那种, 能进入Oakland A's的Roster, 依靠的就是"money ball"的
数据分析方法.
原著和电影都把A's在2002年的表现, 在很大程度上归结于Billy Bean和Paul
DePodesta没有follow traditional wisdom, 而是基于"money ball"的数据分析方法,

关于找议员：
纽约州我找了Senator Kirsten Gillibrand，几天就给了回信。第一次说已经帮我催绿
了，第二次告诉我已经批了。我是NYC和DC的office都写了信，不太清楚是哪个office
在帮我做。
Senator Chuck Schumer的office我也写了信，还去了一趟NYC的office, 可自始至终都
没有回音。
我还联系了Congresswoman Grace Meng, 虽然是华人，但不是很给力。第一次current

So only Vlad, ARod, fat guys like Walker and Vaughn, and little guys like
Rollins and Ichiro are beyond suspicion. Almost 2/3 of MVPs of the last 15
years were confirmed/suspected steroid users. It's pretty sad. |

To be a HOFer, a player has to be at the top of his
position during his playing career. We cannot really
say that about him. In SS, for players who overlapped
with him, Tejada, AROD, Ripken Jr., and Rollins
all won MVPs. Jeter
is a shoot-in. I also believe Omar Visquel will get in.
These players all ranked ahead of him. It would be
almost impossible for him to get in there. |

who are better or compatible to jim T...I have Arod, Albert belle. Chipper
Jones. Mike piazza. Manny. Carlos Delgado. Jeff Bagwell. Rafael Palmeiro,
Larry Walker, ken griffey jr, lance berkman, if you count some of the known
roid users, Jason Giambi, Miguel Tejada, Bonds, BigMac, Sosa... |

从十年多前的Hudson，Zito，Mulder就开始关注他们
记得我买的第一张棒球海报就是他们仨的
这Big Three加上Giambi，Chavez，Tejada称霸AL West有不短的时间
只可惜季后赛一直被Yankees压着干
印象最深的无疑是2001 ALDS第三场Jeter的那个flip play了
Big Three散伙后A's就变得很另类
Billy Beane一直小本经营，却还是有一定的竞争能力
而且又不断有好的投手涌出来
像早一些的Harden，Haren
到现在的Braden，Cahill，Brett Anderson，Gio Gonzalez
这4个都是很有前途的年轻投手
不过可能过两年又会被trade到其它大的market去了
可是他们打击一直都很烂，除了Frank Thomas在的那一年
纵观整个MLB，跟A's经营理念，人员结构和战绩类似的就只有Marlins了吧 |

經典賽（WBC）巴拿馬區資格賽台北時間16日上午開打，大聯盟名將如雲的地主巴拿馬
隊踢到鐵板，以2比3輸給巴西隊，而洋基隊「守護神」Mariano Rivera為這場比賽開球。
巴拿馬隊在2009年經典賽連敗2場，此次必須從資格賽打起，為了勝出，巴拿馬隊徵召
了不少大聯盟球員助陣，包括大都會投手Manny Acosta、游擊手Ruben Tejada，曾效力
洛磯隊、現是自由球員Manuel Corpas，馬林魚隊外野手Carlos Lee，國民隊捕手
Jhonatan Solano，費城人捕手Carlos Ruiz等人，5局上場中繼的Ramiro Mendoza，也
曾在洋基及紅襪拿下59勝，可說是名將如雲，而巴西隊陣中只有Yan Gomes是現役的大
聯盟球員。
不過巴西隊纏鬥力十足，先發投手Andre Rienzo是白襪3A的球員，他先發3.2局被打出4
支安打，失2分、1分責失，2局下被Ruben Rivera 、Jose Macias連續安打，加上巴西
