发帖数: 592 | 5 最近抽空把debian squeeze装在一个2G的U盘上，用来boot pogoplug，samba也设定了
。有个问题，那个U盘的小红灯不停地闪，如果插到windows机器上没有读写就不会闪。
听说读写次数太多U盘容易挂，我猜测是log file或者swap分区造成的。
我学习的攻略说要个swap分区好，所以我设了个400多兆的。结果今天看到另一个攻略
说swap不好，容易搞坏U盘。
总而言之，我想用个8G的U盘，不设swap分区，然后把2G的上面所有东西tarball到8G的
U盘上，结果pogoplug灯是亮了，但是不能ping。
想问问高手，怎么clone linux bootable的U盘。我是先把源盘根目录全部tar了，然后
把8G的目标盘用gparted format成ext3，然后把tarball在目标盘根目录展开。这样行
吗？
还有个令我困惑的问题，2G的盘用fdisk看是fat16 ，可是用mount显示是ext2。 |

are using it, coz it is really convenient for software installation and
uninstallation. go rpmfind.net to see how many distributions are using it.
you can get the tarball from rpm if you can only deal with tar.gz or tgz stuff.
but basically, if your rpm is binary only, then not too much use on other OS,
while if it is source rpm, then you can get out the source code tarball from
it and compile on your own platform. |

西是不动的，这样你所装的app和设置还在。
odin flash的是tarball file吧，如果tarball不包含data.img文件，那么odin是不会
动/data folder的。那么你刷完了之后，是要手动做双清的：data and cache。 |

脆image整个drive一遍
Mac上有现成的Time Machine，太好用了
Linux上的就更多了，经典backup程序全在linux上。tarball就可以了
有啥free的incremental backup软件推荐？
我用过macrium，好像free版本的不行 |

make install没通过，apt-get install成功了一样啊

你试一下npm 能不能有不就知道了
用这个patch，make应该就可以通过了，怎么用patch，去Google吧，

我用的是DualWAN Tomato，本身已经内置了bt，用的是transmission，还带webui。之
前还想装个rtorrent+rutorrent，结果连这些全都省了。不过要是用的其它不带bt的固
件，rtorrent+rutorrent+php之类的JFFS还是能够刚刚装下（刷8MB固件的话）
所以RT-N16稳坐神由第一把交椅不是没有道理的，CPU/RAM/flash完胜。E3000的RAM和
flash是软肋，USB口也比RT-N16少一个，当然5GHz是个卖点
从来不觉得用JFFS升级时有什么不方便。Linux备份本身就很简单，带属性把JFFS分区
tarball一下然后scp到别的地方，刷ROM后scp回来解开即可
外接USB发热和读写寿命是个问题。不过像DockStar这种没条件的还是只能外接USB |
