波士顿马拉松爆炸案爆发后，罗素的父母发布声明说：「我们的女儿今天失去了她的丈夫和她孩子的父亲。」

马拉松爆炸案到周一届满一周，麻州州长派屈克要求所有市民在爆炸发生时间下午2时50分（台湾时间今凌晨2时50分）为死难者默哀。3名死者之一29岁餐厅女经理坎贝尔的家人，也为她举行葬礼。前天纽约等全美和全球各地举行「为波士顿而跑」的路跑，众多民众响应。

不过虽然70%的美国人支持判处其死刑，各种族在该问题上意见分裂。75%白人表示如果焦哈尔被裁定有罪则应该判处其死刑；相较而下，只有52%非裔美国人支持判处其死刑，43%则表示反对。西班牙裔美国人观点则夹在两者之中，62%支持判处其死刑，35%则表示反对。
对该问题的意见差异显示公众对死刑本身的认识差异。《华盛顿邮报》最近在马里兰州的调查显示，63%的白人支持对承认犯下杀人罪的犯人处以死刑，而仅有37%的非裔美国人支持。
70%的美国人支持把焦哈尔送上联邦法庭，而不是军事法庭。根据美国法律，焦哈尔无法在军事法庭受审，因为他是美国公民。但是一些共和党议员表示他应该被称为是“敌方战斗人员”，所以可以无需告诉其米兰达（Miranda Warning）而长时间审问他。

有相当多的早期蒙古高层人物是“景教”徒，是一个基督教分

西方人与蒙古人的基督教情缘
西方人的世界历史体系，有两个明显的情结在里面。一个是
barbarian情结，相当于中国文化里面的“夷狄”。如果一个
民族被视为barbarian那么基本就没有好话了，对他们干什么
事都是理所当然的。世界交流越来越广以后，要政治正确了，
大家都是人。但是不管日常生活还是电影里甚至严肃的史学界
里透出来的那种高人一等的味道是非常明显的。中国人古代文
化太长太重要，世界中古代史与中国的史料的贡献是分不开的
。因此在史学界，中国自古是以文明人面目出现，和希腊罗马
人的西方一起记录着其它野蛮人的历史。如果不是因为中文与
西人的文字体系完全不同，古代中国典籍在西方史学界的地位
会更重。
还有一个是Christian情结。这个在中国文化里面就不是很关
键了，必竟宗教对中国的影响很少是决定性的，最多算作中国

帖木儿（Tamerlane或Taimur）（1336年－1405年），出生于西察合台汗国的一个蒙古
贵族家庭，是成吉思汗的第七世子孙。“帖木儿”在蒙古语中意为钢铁。其母亲是成吉
思汗的直系后裔。
帖木儿自称是圣裔。也就是父亲血统来自穆罕默德。如果是真的，那真是太牛了，地球
上两个最牛的血统在他身上合而为一。
不过历史上圣裔太多，比如从乌兹别克打过来的大小和卓都自称是圣裔。如果是真的，
那香香公主和霍青桐也是圣裔了。
所以帖木儿的穆罕默德血统就不必考证了。

Tsarnaev brother only had ONE HANDGUN with them. 200 rounds are fired during
the shoot out, probably only 10 rounds come from Tamerlan, and they still
let Dzhokhar got away when they know Tamerlam was out of the ammunition. The
police force is just pathetic!
