我也有幸在这个月拿到EY的offer,现在在做taleo的问卷,但是我遇到一个很大的问题
,因为缺少经验,所以想咨询你的建议。
我现在在亚特兰大一家规模还不错的华人会计师事务所工作。去年办h1b的时候,老板
让我们签一个employment agreement,里面对离职后的工作都有一定的限制,EY的
taleo问卷里面问到是否有current employment agreement,有的话,需要提供给
recruiter,当然我是要提供,就是想知道,提供过后,是不是就不会被EY雇佣啦,或
者我需要给recruiter出示什么证明或者verification,能不阻碍我的EY employment喃?

尽管美国的失业率一直在9%左右的高位徘徊,企业却总在抱怨他们招不到合适的人,填
补一个职位空缺常常要花费数月时间。
招聘企业通常都将此归咎于他人:学校没有给孩子们适当的培训,政府没有让足够多的
高技能移民进来。诸如此类,不一而足。
不过我认为,真正的问题在于招聘企业自身。
由于可选择的余地很多,招聘企业对于应聘者的要求比以往任何时候都要高。他们希望
应聘者无需接受培训或是经过一段时间的适应期就能够立刻上手工作。
对企业不利,对经济不利
也就是说,要想获得一份工作,应聘者必须已经从事过同类的工作。这样员工们就陷入
了一个两难的境地,这对企业不利,对整体经济也是如此。
要让美国的就业市场引擎重新恢复活力,企业需要停止对美国教育系统的指责,还应放
弃招聘完美应聘者的想法,转而寻找那些通过一些培训和实践锻炼后能够应付工作的员
工。
有很多种方式可以不耗费太多时间和金钱而能让员工迅速适应工作,比如延长新员工的
试用期,或是更多地借助内部招聘,因为内部人员会比企业外人员更了解空缺职位的工
作内容。

I know they need to hire some engineer as soon as possible because a major
release is due later this year. I've just declined their offer, so the
opening should definitely be there.
Since it's in Denver, the salary won't be comparable to the levels of east
or west coast, but the cost of living is less as well. You can ask for
around 90k or a little over that.
