店，就是改衣服什么的， 让我给想个名字， 无奈本人才疏学浅，不知如何下手，看美
国这边好像都是用自己的姓或者名字后面加个tailor or alteration 就完事了，但我
家的last name 是Q打头，不好发，请大家帮忙想个有好点意义的词，就是要表达手巧
，精细，合身这样的意思的。 还有说男的手巧能干，用handyman, 就是说会做家里的
活，像做trim,铺地板，搭deck等。但描述女的手巧， 会做女红，做衣服织毛衣啥的，
用什么词来说呢，不能用handywomen 吧。谢谢大家的帮助。 |

sometimes asked my mom to do it for me when she visits me.
the tailor in chinatown owns a little store @ Mott & Hester (on Hester), she
sells some inexpensive clothes and does alteration as well.
you wont miss that little store. |

home in Flushing. His home is not the neatest place in the world but you
can see all kinds of suits hanging all over the living room. I'll send you

这是一部根据小说改编的电影，拍得不错，得到了今年奥斯卡的提名，我只想谈一点背
景和不好懂的地方，电影得大家自己去看，这种电影知道了情节就意思不大了。那部小
说的内容肯定不是二小时的电影能讲清楚的，文风就更不是电影能表达的了。最好是看
过电影再来看我写的东西。
首先，这部小说是跟传统的间谍小说完全不同，几乎没有直接的刀光剑影，没有刀枪不
入的英雄，主角只是一个疲惫不堪，在办公室的明争暗斗中失败的职员，以描写官僚机
构的种种争斗为主，我以为更为真实。
这是因为作者原来就是在那里工作的，这个故事还是建立在一些真实的事件之上的，英
国那个时候的确是有一个高级间谍是地鼠，最后交换到了莫斯科，此人的经历和小说中
那个双面间谍类似，当然，小说只是小说，并不完全一致。
这部小说在当时很有名气，但确实有些不好懂，我第一遍几乎完全没能读懂。当然，不
是说不知道谁是地鼠，而是没有理解前面的铺垫。我有些喜欢此书的笔调，所以回头又
