终于整到PDF版本的了！照惯例先给Geeks们各发一遍copy，然后装到手机里慢慢看。在
火车上一般每天能看
20页左右，这本书差不多一个半月看完，正好接着下一本《JUNOS High Availability
》。
一直以来Switching方面都比较弱，知其然不知其所以然。Cisco的牛书Switching俺没
看过，是凡有点概念
都是从NA、NP的考试书里积累的，难免有些过时（一想到SRB就郁闷地想打人）。有了
这本新书正好了解下如
今的switching有啥新东西。
Harry Reynolds这厮写书还是比较闷骚的，往往还喜欢开点并不好笑的玩笑逗自己乐乐
。与Cisco press
出的书比较，Juniper Education的人总是喜欢冒充有文化，非要把技术书写成文艺小
说的行文风格（嗯，
估计Cisco早就看这些“文学青年”不顺眼乐，一脚接一脚地踢出去！咔咔咔）。总之
他算是一个“票房毒药”型
的著名强人，基本上写啥毁啥，写的书没有一本畅销的，最后下场往往是Juniper从出
版社回购后免费满世界

发帖数: 4495 | 4 我觉得，好像现在很多的Switch上面的新技术，（最少对我而言，，好久没有碰switch
了），象DCB, ethernet fabric, virtualization，100G，好像Cisco跟进的比较慢啊。
又看了一眼，上个Qtr，Cisco Switch Rev是3.7B，这个Qtr只有3.15B，一般Q4是
Strong Qtr，要是这么算的话，Cisco在Switch上一下子就丢掉了550M!!!
这个肯定不是什么一个两个contract的问题，一定是技术上，或者Strategy，或者2者
上出了大问题。 |

dc switch的feature requirement和普通的enterpise switch不一样啊。per 10G port

房间里有一个CAT5e的网口，我如果用网线直接连到电脑上没有问题，但是我如果想通
过一个D-Link的switch (DES 1105)来共享这个网络，应该怎么做呢？
我现在从网口接一根线到switch的任何一个port(它没有uplink口)，指示灯是恒亮，也
不会闪烁。电脑通过另一个网线连到switch的其他端口，指示灯一开始会闪一下，都找
不到网络，后来就是恒亮了。
这里面哪一步有问题呢？我甚至做了一根cross over的网线，从网口连到switch，也没
有解决问题。
网口的另外一端连到了家里的router上，应该没有问题，要不然之前直接连电脑会不通。
请指教，多谢！ |

发帖数: 83 | 11 电脑和NAS之间传输（内网），用Linksys WRT54G作switch，上下传能到8-10MB，可使用了TRENDnet Gigabit GREENnet switch，上下传只能到1MB，差不多相差10倍，为什么啊？网线都用的是普通Cat5，电脑是百兆网卡，NAS是千兆网卡。
我以为gigabit switch应该是向下兼容的啊，应该至少不比我WRT54G的百兆switch慢啊。
版上的大牛们指点一下吧。多谢了！ |

1）假设1st Router是有线的，就不需怎么设置了吧, 顶多打开dhcp？
2) Switch 不需太多设置吧？是不是连上就可用，各个直接相连电脑互相可见？
3）从switch来的cable 是连2nd router 的Wan 还是Lan口？只关掉dhcp就行了吗？其
他加密，mac filter不影响吧？
4）1st router有4个Lan, 一个给了switch, 如果另外3个也连电脑，这些电脑需要什么
设置才能和连switch的电脑互见？ |

1,2,3,6pin。我现在的router是300nh，连这根线的时候，Boradcom的网卡可以上到
100mbps，Intel的网卡只能上到10mbps。我试着用e3000当switch，也可以上到100m。
可是用e3000当switch未免有点高射炮打蚊子，加上e3000发热量太大。所以想找个老的
broadcom芯片的switch试试。有谁知道什么型号比较好吗？谢谢。百兆千兆都行，谢谢

Switch的作用就是switching ethernet frames.
若有兴趣，可以自行研究下hub, switch, router区别。大学时候的某个课后题。 |

为在一些precision电路中, 希望开关换成理想的, 先算别的部分引进的误差.
在analogLib, 有个model called "switch", 但是open switch resistance, close
switch resistance 必须设成实际的数, 好象设成 0 会出错.
还看到一个model called "sp1tswitch", 这个model 好象没有控制开关, 只有静态的
设置成开或关.
最近问题太多, 感谢本版帮助. |

刚开始好像电路动了一下，音响闪了一下就没了。
第一次钥匙可以拔出来，第二次再放进去，连音响都没有动，钥匙也拔不出来。

址冲突。switch的实际作用就是组建一个local局域网。连在一个switch的电脑可以信

router的作用是一个network server。分配内部ip给连在router上的电脑。电脑上网的
时候，先经过router，再连到外面的网络 |

其实家用router的Lan network本身就是一个switch.我有一个router被我弄成砖头了
，ＷＡＮ，无线都不起作用了，我就把它当switch用（自用四个lan的端口），一点问
