忧。楼主可以自己做点研究。个人觉得还是避免让这么小的孩子睡memory
foam床垫吧。

么也找不到大号的。婴儿用品店也没有卖的。适合12个月以上穿的。孩子体型大，6个
月要穿12－18个月的衣服。。
由于担心suffocate 所以把所有的blanket 都拿走了，可怜的小东西昨天晚上就穿

bumper,
babies move while sleeping, this is normal (this is how they practice their
muscles). crib bumper is not recommended everywhere. even worse, putting
stacked comforter is dangerous for the baby! babies can push their noses
against the comforter while moving and suffocate. the recommended crib
setting is called a "naked" crib (Baby 411, 6th edition, pg 217) - a tight-
fit crib sheet and mattress, that's all. |

moving to a larger bed probably won't stop them from moving. combing two
cribs can easily add more risks. for example, the space between the two
cribs/mattresses can trap the baby or make them suffocate. That totally
defeats the purpose of using a crib in the first place. |

最近本人因各种事交织到一起（第二个孩子刚出生的第9天），不想把小孩的午饭后的
午休打断，又想赶快买点孩子的牛奶鸡蛋，从而未想的远些，导致一时疏忽，在（德州
）Wal-mart停车场把自己两岁多的孩子一个人留在汽车里睡觉大约15分钟，（室外温度
大约55F, 车窗也留拉一点缝以防止窒息）。 结果被人举报，而受到警察犯罪指控 (
Felony Charge)。罪名是遗弃及危害儿童并有返回意图，可导致儿童窒息或被绑架 （
abandonment and endangerment of children with intent of return, suffocating
and kidnapping）。因为此事，当天已在监狱呆了20小时，目前属于保释阶段（来美国
１４年，也算有了进监狱的经历和教训）。最幸运的最重要的还是孩子没有任何伤害。
若被定罪，最重可获得6个月到2年的州立监狱刑期及永久犯罪记录， 自然就会严重影
响到移民身份和工作/职业发展。
现在法律程序已进入到刑事诉讼的大陪审团（Grand Jury）的阶段。目前辩护律师解释

我跟LD，总是他觉得这也没什么那也没什么，妈妈总是考虑得太多太多
法律上我可能说不上什么，这个，真的是没经验
记得几个月以前我发过一个帖，好奇问如果去加油站买瓶水，下车2分钟，娃怎么办？
大家的回帖都说，扛下去，于是偶就一直扛身边了
既然帖发在这里了，说说我的感想
从楼主角度来说，挺理解楼主的，有了孩子以后那个忙啊累的，尤其是2个孩子
而且扛上扛下娃又弄醒了，确实麻烦，我相信楼主是个好爸爸，也细心的给车窗留了缝
从娃的角度说，偶最担心的是有人砸开玻璃把娃偷走了，那我真是欲哭无泪
从报警者角度说，他/她不认识楼主，不知道娃安全与否，不知道这父母是不是
真的遗弃孩子，换成是我，也许会守在车边等半个小时，看有没有人回来
但美国人办事通常比偶们干脆
从法律的角度来说，说真的，确实搞得太严重了，给人过犹不及的感觉
可是反过来想想，被父母忘记在车里而窒息死亡的宝宝，不是没有
过于严厉的目的可能不是真的为了惩罚，就是吓唬你，让你不敢轻易这么尝试
毕竟，很多人可能会觉得我就下车几分钟，娃在车里应该没事
最后祝楼主好运，找个好律师，好好解决了这个事

，期末考试...考试要是考不好了，老师弄得就跟这辈子要完蛋一样。不过至少能学个
中文，学了中文，长大以后就可以没事来mitbbs上看看，:)。然后还可以和同胞们在网
上交流。而10多岁来美，虽然英语不是native language, 说的时候难免会有一点
accent, 不过毕竟10多岁来美，在美国读初中，高中和大学，英语也不会差到哪去。呆
上10多年，不知不觉当中也会发现平时说英语跟讲中文也没太大区别。
而且人这一辈子，几十年，有机会体验一下中西方文化也挺好的。人一辈子总在一个地
方生活，总跟一个皮肤颜色的人打交道也没啥意思。
美国教育虽然小学，初中想对轻松，但到了高中和大学，如果真的上很多的ap courses
, 然后大学去比较不错的学校读engineering, 学习压力也不小。如果到最后真的能从
个什么berkeley, cornell之类的学校毕业，也是件值得让自己骄傲的事情。在国内，
拼死拼活的，最后上个北大清华，顶天了。可北大清华论排名的话，也就是个美国2，3
流学校？
