像netflix,dropbox,还有telecom公司，以及基于SaaS的公司都是subscription based,
用模型来预测subscription renewal的肯定都在做吧，大家都在用什么方法？
我只能想到最基本的，以按月续订为例子，create a collection of usage metrics,
and aggregate onto monthly level.每个用户都有一个renew flag作为dependent
variable，然后用个logistic regression，或者什么tree ensemble啊，neural
network之类建个model。那么问题来了，training data怎么建？我的回答是take

Depending on how many email subscriptions you already have with AA.com, you
can get up to 3,000 AAdvantage miles for signing up. If you already
subscribe, try modifying your preferences and you should get some miles. It'

edition of Top Gear magazine (best automotive magazine out there in my
opinion) with no joy. Amazon sells their subscription for $169 for 13 issues
(!) and even in places like Barnes and Noble they are around $10 per issue.
I found a digital subscription on Zinio for $66.60 a year, and if you sign

首先，这个Economy plus是否必要取决于主观，也取决于客观。有些人不在乎leg
space，有些人认为不值或者可惜那个钱，这些人subscription显然没有意义；同
样的，US domestic的短途大概$30(1hr domestic)。个人觉得也没必要了，刚坐不久就
到了。但是如果你是东西岸飞，5-6个小时（也是我们最近经历的），这个economy
plus就有意义了。也许我们家被惯坏了，那个一般的coach座位就是感觉不舒服。
特别的，很多人都忽略我的帖子一个重要的一点：那个Econmy plus的头排跟其他
Economy Plus是不一样的！虽然那个价格只比一般价格高也许几十块钱，哪个额外部分
真实性价比大大地。说真实例子，我自己没做过头等舱，但是有一次咬牙，用点数给爸
妈换了能躺下的中美之间头等舱。本意是让他们享受一次，结果他们告诉我还不如那个
economy plus的头排。。。从我自己的经历和爸妈的经历我逐渐感觉这个东西是值得的

it comes out to be 30% the first time. If you use the same subscription the
second time it should be 15%. However, most ppl will deactivate the old
subscription and sign up a new one again when placing the second order. Have

Amazon currently does not sell
the Xbox live online subscription code and does not know when it will be
back in stock making their
promotion code useless. I was able to have them apply the $10 code as a
credit for any future Amazon
purchase. I just used it to purchased the Xbox live subscription card

因为这些公司不敢涨价，因为没人会买。
倒是像一个保证自家content有很高竞争力的手短。因为很多公司会因为30%交了无利可
图而退出向iOS用户出售subscription的市场。
或者他们就必须转向HTML5 apps，必须绕开iOS SDK和App Store。
所谓Walled garden。
这个也无可厚非。虽然HTML5 apps还不够强大，但是至少还是有可能给用户非App
Store的选择的。随着iOS设备越发强大，HTML5 apps还是能做得比较好的。
应该说是苹果准备推TV, Movie, Music streaming subscription了。 |
