所以，想背着房东偷偷sublet。但是，这样如果新房客损坏了东西，或者发生什么意外的
话，责任就是我们的了。所以，我们想起草一个有法律效力的协议，让新房客在这一个月
内对房屋、我们的家具用品和他个人的财物负责。但是，不知道我们这样背着房东签的su
blet协议是不是在法律上有效，万一出点什么事，是不是还要我们来担责任? 如果有效的
话，到哪里能找一个这种协议的模版？还有，sublet房子还用不用找新房客要security
deposit?

said before I give him upfront the total rent, he require a deposit of 200

因为还不确定呆多久，所以打算先找个sublet的。
现在的tenant要求我的ID copy, one month rent and one month deposit.
这样没有lease的sublet，想请教一下我应该怎么样防止上当受骗，可以问他要ID copy
吗？
听说纽约骗子挺多的，不知道还有没有别的什么注意事项，非常感谢！ |

网络,cable,水电全家起来一个人$60左右。
要是有人sublet六月的话，这个月可以付$620 plus utility

我的室友没通过公寓的背景check,只能做guest,也就是相当于我sublet一间房给他.
我们分开交房租,每人用各自的check.上个月他房租迟交,被罚late fee50刀.因为lease
上我是tenant,钱charge在我的帐户上.经理知道我们的情况,所以写notice的时候写的
title是他的名字.现在室友不交late fee,我可以怎么要这笔钱?
让leasing office找collection company或者我自己找?请律师要债?还是small claim
court?
怎么report credit history？

最近发现他常酗酒抽烟（心情很差，刚离婚，可能也失业），还咳嗽吐血，搞得房间很
