If someone is described as having a shaved head, I would expect to see
stubbles. But if someone is described as being bald, then he has lost his
hair.
Bald isn't necessarily rude. You often hear people being described as

举个具体例子，从史家角度看，通俗易懂不仅其次，用典甚至重要和必要。为什么？六经皆史这话听上去不好理解，我最近开始读点诗就有点具体体会了：作为文盲，我对先秦毫无了解，对于西周更无印象；然而读诗经却能令我管窥这段时间
的重大时间。不仅雅颂关乎国之大计，国风也大半关乎重大政治事件。此后楚辞另辟蹊径，别据一格成美人香草体系，然而仍然几乎句句不脱政治。不仅承袭两者关注政治传统，以后古诗作者也频繁援引诗经、楚辞。这种用典，不是简单的修辞手段，对文义的解释也至关重要。
