I have the old racquet which has the same recoomendation too.
It is very strange, so high.
However I just strung it with my normal lbs, no more than 60 lbs. It is
fine too.
If I tried to strung at 70 lbs, the strings is easily to be broken.
So, KennyD you paid $2 for an old racquet and $20 for it to be strung, right

最近悲催的发现拍子的拍柄好像买大了，特别是缠了一圈胶布之后，打久了虎口有
些疼。然后练习volley时感觉拍子头重脚轻，拍面经常歪。于是动了换个拍子念头。

18 gauge for main, 16 for cross. My racquet is pretty low-powered, 93" head
with a 18x20 string pattern, so I figured using a thinner gauge main will
open up the string pattern a little and give it a bit more power/spin as
well.
I strung it 55lb, and hit with it for maybe 1.5hrs. Wow it feels great!

如何?
你要是要在Prince O3 式的拍子里选的话，O3 White （沙娃以前的拍）和O3 Hybrid Shark MP 应该不错。 一来是三年前的型号，便宜， 二来重量适中 （11.1 strung)， 三来象其他Prince的大洞洞拍子一样， 不伤肘。
O3 Hybrid Hornet MP稍轻点, 10.6 strung.
也可以试试这些的oversize， 不过oversize的跟你现在的拍子大小差太多。
O3 Blue也许太轻了。 |

偶这个Head LM Radical MP, 原始指标如下：
11.2 oz strung, with one overgrip
5 pt HL
通过lead tape和lead weight, 现在的指标是：
11.8 oz strung, with one overgrip
6 pt HL
论理这个参数应该是不错的，应该和很多大路货players racket很接近，
例如Dunlop 200, Wilson Blade什么的。结果现在发现力量偏小，不知
何故。是不是lead tape贴的位置不理想？偶是贴在了3/9点，总共10克
（很长）。 |

成为比偶好的tennis player. 如果她能找到partner，偶将非常乐意的
带孩子/做饭。现在偶们无法同时出去打球；偶若干次帮她找female partner
过程均以失败告终。
下面是正题。两段录像相隔不足1个月，可以基本假定偶的技术没有什么
变化。区别在于：
08-02-2009偶用的是Head Ti S1, 重量不超过10.5 oz, strung with Prince
Syn Gut 16 at mid tension. 大家可以帮偶数一下有多少UE（其中至少两球是
用足了topspin的情况下出界）。
08-29-2009偶用的是Head LM Radical MP (L4), 重量11.2 oz, strung with
cheap syn gut at high tension. 偶清楚的看到出界次数少得多。
如果这两个偶打比赛，偶预计拿Radical那个可以on average 6-4获胜
（NTRP 0.125 difference)。

大概五六年以前用Prince Precision, 100, 10.8strung weight. 一直感觉都还可以，
直到有遇到一个新球友。他可以正反手打出很强的Top Spin，一段时间内把我打得屁滚
尿流。于是就归罪与球拍，偶然试了一下Ncode6.1 Tour (12.6 strunge weight, 90sf
)，感觉对手的好多旋转都被这个球拍的重量吃掉了。于是毅然买了一只，用了一两年
，感觉不错。
后来发现自己正手击球时机总是有些晚，而且反手打不出旋转来（我双反）。就又买了
Babolat PD GT(inspired by K. Clisters, 11.2 strung weight, 100 sf). 感觉底线
正反手都有了进步。最近双打打得多了点，发现忽然overhead打得太差了。经常球拍挥
早了。用Ncode 的时候没有这个问题。所以现在球拍的选择上有点僵局了。
还有，不知道是不是审美疲劳，每次我试别人的球拍，刚开始感觉都比自己的好，时间
长了就又没有感觉的了。

in China... lol Hopefully can make it out there this year.
Been mostly hibernating in winter with some occasional skiing - it's been a
bad year for that as well. Started hitting again recently, and thinking of
cutting my poly set up since it feels absolutely dead to me(I strung them
over 6 months ago).

tension.
Another thing to note is that Fed's racquet's head size is smaller, thus I
think it can afford to have more loose tension.
Personally, I like tighter (not too tighter) tension. It gives me a better
feel. I find the newly strung ones felt the best, when it is about to break,
the tension probably lost 5 to 8 lb.
You can buy this tension meter from a iphone app. When my string is about to

there must be something causing your racquet's strung weight too heavy.
we're only talking about static weight. the heaviest that I owned before is
K90. It's about 12.5-12.7oz strung weight.
