虽然这些度假胜地并没有持续多久，一家旅馆，黛尔玛的the Stratford Inn 建于1910年，以Del Mar作为声誉并作为好莱坞精英的度假胜地诞生了。在二十世纪30年代时，the County Fairgrounds 建立，一个由Bing Crosby好莱坞成员率领一干人马在此开始举行纯种赛马季节活动。。。。。。美丽的海滩，优雅的酒店和餐饮，以及小镇亲密的气氛日益使黛尔玛成为一个受人欢迎的旅游胜地。从6月中旬的the Del Mar Fair到纯种赛马季节的9月结束，已作为该镇传统保持至今。。。。。

多了。这边私校普通的还不如公立，高大上的怎么看怎么钱不值，只有真正不怕烧钱的

2 American teachers. His class is mixed with Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese,
Hispanic and Caucasians. I heard SVL campus is 90% Indians.
You have to hurry. Pre-K are full for the fall season already. My friend
can't get in even though she tried to apply in Feb. |

没办法，公立学校没法指望太多，公立学校那种“额外”的音乐课啥
的，跟 stratford 这种私立学校相比就是 joke。
私立学校还是很不错的，除了学费实在是有点贵。另外很多私立学校
都被老印占领了，弄得咱老中在那里很孤立。这个跟学校无关，主要
是老中大多喜欢买房而不去私校 ………… |

$500 / month 的 after school，算下来每年差价差不多是 1.1w
（summer camp 反正都得自己付钱）。
不过不能把 Dublin 和 PA 比啊，交通的差别太大了。另外高中也
不一样。Catholic Private High 其实并不贵多少，但选择还是
少了很多。 |

去 Stratford De Anza 分校，或者去 SanFrancis Catholic High。
都不太远。
好学区不一定附近有私立，比如 Ruskins 或者 Evergreen 啥的。 |

要知道目前经济不那么好，sunnyvale / santa clara / cupertino
/ campbell 一带的 challenger / stratford 都缩班（指 Kindergarten
以及往上年级，有公立的 option）了，waiting list 都未必要排。
pre-school 和 pre-K 里上 extend care 的人也少。 |
