to Sen's Fortress, but 20+ hours in it and I'm still not sure what and why
I'm doing all this? There is no narrative, none of the monsters, even bosses
talks, but they seem connected based on the opening sence. How/when do I
learn the storyline, if there is such a thing? Maybe I'm still too early in
the game? |

No offense, I think this is a gross overreaction. To be fair to Melo,
recently the Knicks have played the Mavericks, Spurs, Celtics and Heat, not
exactly the Raptor/Bobcats/Nets/Kings/Hawks diet they had earlier during

because they have a complete frame of storyline before they start shooting,
the plot can be more intricate.
american shows... on the other hand, are not based on real literary works
but a small pilot script. most of them do not have a storyline and totally
depend on the creativity of the writers later... and one story has to be
compressed into 43 minutes... like csi... it's difficult to use complex
stories or intricate plots |

I gave up watching TV over a year ago until this show. I served aboard a
Lafayette-class boomer during the cold war, so I expected to be disappointed
with the usual Hollywood disconnect from reality. Not so here. Excellent
storyline. Perfect timing as it tunes in to the increasing awareness of just
