Auburn is too embarassed these days. They bought back a game with FSU
with 500,000 dollars. That game was scheduled when Terry Bowden was

Division I football. Now Terry regisned. Auburn doesn't want to

I am a little worried about OU's QB situation :-)
Heisman candidate JW will likely return, then we have 2 top 5 high school QBs
in Tom Grady (redshirting) and Rhett Bomar (RB is supposed to be the No.1 QB
coming out of HS this year). Not to mention Paul Thompson and Noah Allen...
Bob Stoops won 2000 NC mostly with John Blakes' players. JB is absolutely the
worst coach OU has ever had. |

痛苦的10年为代价的。OU，NEB和CU能分享的球员就那么一点点，想出FL
那样的三只球队，也许要把德州的球员都召过来才行。
所以说，除非BOB STOOPS TURN PRO，否则我对NEB重回光辉岁月信心不足。

texas is not officially 2005 big 12 champion any more because they did not
beat the real north champion, huskers. USC may even claim the champion now.
However, on the other side, this is going to be the end of the day when the
University will cooperate with NCAA. OU took immediate steps and kicked the
players out of the team and really provided all the information for the NCAA

With the focus on speed, florida teams has risen fast since 80's and Miami
is one of the three. From 85-87, Sooners totally lost three games--all to
miami. We would have had another two had we beat the hurricanes but you need
to beat the best to be the best. I am OK with both OU and miami won one nc
during the three year span.
OU has been pretty decent since Bob Stoops took over in 99, 1NC, 4
conference titles, 3BCS finals, 5BC |

发帖数: 14583 | 36 OU 输在哪里？其实都不是什么新问题了，对 cincy / tcu 的时候就暴露出来了，一是
special team, 二是 rushing game (OL run block). 再就是几年来一直存在的
brent venables 问题。
这场球直到第55分钟还是有悬念的，应该说我们的 passing game 表现可以了。赛前要
有人说 sam bradford 5td 但是赢不下来，那准是疯了。Offense 的缺点是得分太快了
，mmd, 我们每个drive一分半，tx每个drive六七分钟，我们defense只好 bend, bend,
bend, ... break!
Ryan Reynolds 受伤肯定影响是非常大的，但是 shipley 接的那个球可以理解，最后
放的那个长跑就不可原谅了，从 line 到 secondary 完全形同虚设阿。那个时候tx领
先3分，时间不多，我们居然不 stuff the run... 要是对方出了 passing big play
我也不说什么了，这个完全是 venables 有问题

阵容。众所周知，坚强的防守对球队战绩的巨大重要性；而我鳄正是凭借日臻成熟完善
的防守，肩负起球队制胜的关键，在08年反而能够在进攻火力自07年后有所下降后大幅
度提高全队整体战力而一举夺冠。09年赛季我鳄将拥有全部的11名去年首发防守主力以
及10名第一替补，可谓是兵强马壮；而在上赛季结束后风闻要另择高枝的防守教练们
DAN MCCARNEY、CHARLIE STRONG也一个都没走成，为新赛季的防守坚固更添一份胜算。
讲我鳄如今固若金汤的防守，就不能不提三个教练。大家知道URBAN MEYER长于 SPREAD
OPTION进攻和特勤队，防守方面并无过人之处—不像BAMA的NICK SABAN或者是OU的BOB
STOOPS，都是从DC起家的。MEYER征战07赛季时就吃尽防守被人打穿的苦头，因此赛季
一结束后就一口气挖来两个防守教练：他们分别是MICHIGAN（又是MICHIGAN!）的角卫
教练VANCE BEDFORD和USF的DL教练DAN MCCARNEY。BEDFORD当年就是TEXAS的正选 |

上回说到04赛季UF和LSU两队都经历了换帅：鳄鱼在10月中下旬就早早炒了猪哥的饭碗
，开始了寻找新的主教练，在被Bob Stoops, Mike Shanahan, 以及前任教练Steve
Spurrier拒绝后，终于找到了当时在UTAH崭露头角的新锐教练Urban Meyer。在抵抗住
来自另外一所名校Notre Dame的强大诱惑后，Meyer终于在12月中旬同意出任新赛季的
鳄鱼主帅。LSU方面的寻找新帅的动作却迅速的多，几乎在赛班离去后没几个星期，就
搞定了当时在OKST执教的Les Miles。2005年1月份死亡谷也有了新的主人。
麦耶和麦尔斯的上任，在当时都或多或少引起争议，毕竟两人之前都没有太显赫的履历
—虽然他们各自在当时二三流的小球会的战绩还是很可观的，SEC当时刚刚经历了奥本
的全胜04赛季和LSU的冠军03赛季，越来越接近于NCAA第一联盟的顶峰。作为SEC的两大
