目前，研究人员也正在通过另一项III期临床检测Stimuvax用于治疗非小细胞肺癌

统，使之确定并靶向作用于表达MUC1的癌细胞，而MUC1则是一种通常在乳腺癌、非小细

increase overall survival in the Phase III clinical trial, the German
chemicals and pharmaceuticals group said on Wednesday.
The trial's coordinating investigator, Frances Shepherd of the University of
Toronto, said the result was disappointing, although she said "notable
treatment effects were observed in certain subgroups of patients".

Based on current situation, it was predicted to have 90% of chance of
success. I think there is 95% chance. And it appears to be remarkably
effective for stage IIIB. Not effective for more advanced patients
There is a trial in Asia called "Inspire" probably in Hong kong and
Singapore. Don't know if it is in China. In Japan, it is in phase I. If she
can get in, it is of course free. 1/3 of patients are on placebo. You can

Oncothyreon Inc (ONTY) plunged 6.17 percent to $3.65 in the pre-market
trading. Merck Serono, a division of Merck KGaA of Darmstadt, Germany,
informed Oncothyreon on Dec. 22 that the Independent Data Monitoring
Committee (DMC) for the Phase 3 START trial of Stimuvax in non-small cell
lung cancer met and the DMC recommendation is to continue the study.
