1: Eucalyptus by Murray Bail
The only good thing about this Miles Franklin and Commonwealth Writer's
Prize-winning novel is that it's short and the Russell Crowe/Nicole Kidman
movie was felled. Those bloody trees will turn you into a pro-logger by the

勇的女战士。Romance比较少了，Edward的角色就比较苍白，似乎永远把中心位置留给
别人。故事也就比较松散了，直到两个吸血鬼家族再加上狼人的大战才有高潮。大概要
杀死一个vampire要rip off his head,看起来有点恐怖。我正想这真是终结篇了，那么
多比较主要的角色都死了，原来都是想象。结局依然是好的，觉得导演很有娱乐精神，
娱乐没什么不好，不需要把什么都搞得那么高深。暮光系列不会得奥斯卡，没有深刻哲
理，却也拥有无数疯狂fans。我不是fan,但觉得电影拍得还好。Twilight五部电影我看
过3个。
最后画面上从书页上截出演员表，似乎象原著致敬，Stephenie Meyer，1973年出生于
美国康涅狄格州。她本是没有丝毫的写作经验全职主妇。30岁的一天，因为她的一个梦

吧，也不一定是推荐。
徐则臣的中篇《居延》，城市打工仔的爱情故事和怎么找工钱。
Stephenie Meyer的《Twilight》，心理和细节描写很出彩的。
Howard Schultz的Pour you heart into it，讲述他的咖啡传奇和星巴克经营过程，语
言优美。
迟子建的《鬼魅丹青》，讲了几个北方小城的变态爱情生活，继承她一贯的写作风格。
Walter Issacson的《Benjamin Franklin》,我喜欢他的叙事带分析的写作风格。
James Petterson的Sundays at tiffany，富家女追求爱情的故事，章节很适合阅读。
另外还有几本今年想看的书，有《万历十五年》，讲解诗歌写作和解析的书，一篇都市
生活小说，一篇乡村背景小说，Stephen King的一两本书，等等，有的还没想好。如果
读书会恰巧能做一两期这些作品，就太幸运了。 |

有学习Dreamcatcher的嫌疑, 不过主题变到了romance而已.
回来说Dark Tower系列... 果然是epic手笔. 据说Stephen King从19岁开始构思, 直到
前几年快60岁才完工最后一本. 我刚完成了第一步Gunsinger和第二部The Drawing of
the Three. 第一部情节非常简单, 但是很多是为以后埋下伏笔, 而且笔风非常飘逸,有
散文诗的意思. 第二部开是有情节的发展, 非常引人入胜, 悬念跌起,又为以后埋下了
更多的伏笔... 现在我在看第三部The Waste Land. 感觉好戏才开始...
