老板，老板说，新的funding还没拿到，现在无法跟我续签合同。问小米，小米说，也
不知道renew J1 visa status需要多久。
想请问一下：
1. 所谓的J1 visa的renew是不是就是重新签个DS2019？需要去大使馆把护照重新renew
吗？我的护照上visa状态也是6月到期的。
2. 如果不换地方，renew一下J1 status 需要多久？
3. 如果换地方，像我6月到期，最迟什么时间要得到新老板的offer并renew我的J1呢？ |

maybe not all of them are that aware their own policy??
I think it's J1 without waiver can transfer to other nonimmigrant status,
such as F1,B2 etc, but not to immigrant status, like H1B.

以及change status的信息，查到以下信息：
网上可见信息说， 可以用favorable recommendation就可以file H1B 了？ 而且如果
PP了H1B，同时也可以加快pending在USCIS的J1 waiver case, 因为H1 will not be
issued until a J1 waiver final apporval has been issued.
果真可以拿着favorable recommendation file H1吗？过来的人说说？
对了，有的律师还强调，上面说的是指在美国境内只是change status的，如果是在本
国申请H1的话，必须拿到I797才可以。
Anyway, 找到这些信息，希望对大家有用，同时，有了结情况的说说是真的可行吗，这

My mom applied the US B2 Visa in Nov 2013 by Zhongxin Bank (GuangZhou issued
the visa). When I checked the status on website this week, it's still "no
status".
But my mom got the passport yesterday and she got the visa. I really feel
