pending的阶段出现out of status是合法的authorized stay，不计入unlawful
presence，不会对未来的485批准造成影响。
类似的合法out of status还包括485 pending（EAD/AOS/Parolee），grace

几步?我听到都是不同的情况,极其confused。
有朋友去年拿到绿卡的说他们打完指纹,就收到通知要order card,然后就倒退, update
说进行background check,然后中间又要好几步,最后两个月之后才变为把卡寄出去。
有朋友是等了半年多，online status才从fingerprint notice变为card ordered，然
后是welcome notice, 最后card mailed.
等多久不是这里讨论的问题，这是门内排期和审批运气之类的事了。想请教的是这个
update history

之间换了一次工作，重新走了一次PERM流程，现公司不允许降级EB3,所以等到今年4月
才能file. 律师也比较拖，4月底才交上去,Receipt 5月初才收到。
我还是对Combo卡的状态感到奇怪，等我收到AP deny notice的时候应该就知道了，律
师也说不清楚，很多其他EAD和485批的人，AP和EAD也一起批了，并没有被deny.

买一辆Mini Cooper,准备申请6个月的Auto Loan，
BMW Finance Center有0.9%的APR，
已经被Approve了，
但是dealer说我们是non permanent resident,
需要出示Valid Visa status，
我和老婆的VISA都是明年年底过期（F1），
dealer说Auto Loan length cannot be long than the valid VISA expiration date,
所以不能从 BMW FC 贷款，
只能从外面银行贷，利息是2.9左右。
请问有没有人遇见过这种情况？
一定需要valid VISA status吗？
