楼梯咋办？
1，不换。（省事）
2， 将原有的松木楼梯板用砂纸打新，刷漆。（省事，但不一定好看，松木没木纹，而
且软）
3，加硬木楼梯板在原有的松木楼梯板上。（现在最普遍的方法）
4， 拆掉原有的松木楼梯板，换硬木楼梯板。（太专业，太麻烦。很少有人这么干）
比较上面，大多数contractor 选2 或3.
选2是因为省事，做的不好没关系，说是因为你原楼梯 板不好。你为省钱。
选3费时而且需要一定技术，尤其是刷漆。刷漆看似简单，但技术含量高，尤其是stain
， 特别是在 oak上stain。要想刷匀需要技术，也就是说需要多练习。（以后单说wood
finishing）
好，下面说方法3. 一看图你就知道很简单。方法3又有B,C,D.

The material costs around $2000-$3000 with pre-milled tread returns (if you
buy oak treads, railings and newels but everything else pine. I don't think
you can use the existing treads under the carpet, they are probably just
pine...
It takes two people at least 5 days to finish the carpentry and painting job
. The labor cost really depends on where you live. If you want to do the

想要买的9/16的engineered地板没有配套的stair nose.请问该怎么配？
关键是厚度也必须是9/16，对吗？如果地板是3-3/4宽，那么stair nose应该多宽比较
好？
另外，在水泥地上铺engineered地板，是铺防水层+glue好，还是用2合1的胶水好？
如果可以用2合1胶水的话，什么牌子好？

宝宝两岁了， 走跑自如。 搬了house后， 考虑给宝宝装个Stair Gate. 大家能不能给
个推荐？ 什么样的安全且操作容易。
下面是我家楼梯的样子。 第一张是全貌。 第二张是一楼的楼梯口。 第三张是二楼的
楼梯口。 是不是两个楼梯口都要装呢？ 但是一楼的楼梯口， 两边都是Rail.可以装吗
？ 二楼的楼梯口是一边是Rail， 另一边是墙（不知道有木头没有）.

发帖数: 599 | 8 就是直接把木地板手工倒个圆弧, 形状就和stair tread一样, 弄完以后刷清漆.这样可
以省很多银子,特别我用的是巴西木,一根stairnose $85. 其实我父母在国内装修楼梯
就这么做得,国内也没什么stair nose, 我自己觉得OK,现在就想问问这样resale会不会
有问题,我们倒是会用runner的. 美国这样作法会不会很奇怪. |

nose. 那个nose是$10 / LF
DIY楼梯，也是这个办法，关键是要做工和刷漆做到专业精致。 |

DC不需要route finding省了很多精力，travese的路都给踩出来了，省了很多体力
DC最陡的那段guiding companies set up 好了fixed rope
这次天气晴好，很多地方都不用crampon，我穿的super gaiter的boot也太热了
大概有１０个左右的cravasse，早点出发，过snowbridge安全，走起来也轻松，而且也
有人照应
如果你是和我一样的天气去，少带衣服，多带水，大概每１小时吃一个energy bar补充
体力
一罐气刚刚好够２人化雪煮吃的，刚好完全用完
防晒，防晒，防晒！我已经每几个小时补了防晒霜,一有空就拿个防晒sticker在脸上乱
涂一通了，可是上山和下山肤色还是差太多了！

整块的我完全不考虑, 非常贵,如果用oak整版便宜呢,只能刷成cherry色, 想想还不如

bought lots of bits which were on clearance. If you need a router for heavy
duty such as cutting stair nose, I would (strongly) suggest you get a half
inch shank router instead of a quarter one.
But my router support both. And I have another palm router. :D |

上面是你的问题,我是用router砍stair nose,有什么问题,你怎么说话前言不搭后语的
table saw车tongue and groove是木板,而且容易出错,同时一般要用dado blade,不知
道你想说什么.
我当然有专门的tongue and groove bit,同时也有dado blade.不用dado blade对新手
来说就是扯淡,出事的概率很大,矫正也难,而且我那个不是平板.

no trip bar, open both sides and very sturdy; but don't mount on drywayll,
it's too heavy. Mount on stud instead. |

发帖数: 1402 | 47 我最近忙也准备装，做了一下功课，楼上的gate比较重要，因为要防止小孩摔下楼梯，
最好买专门设计的那种叫stair top gate,这种是用螺丝来固定，而不是常见的那种两
侧撑住的。为了防止损坏扶手，还可以把一段木头用cable tie固定在扶手上，然后把
gate固定在木头上。你可以看看amazon，上面有些用户安装的图片 |
