不过apartment的人都是比较nice，使他们的policy太狠，还有就是manager很不赞，在
这里如果忘了按点交房租是要罚钱的，打电话也没用，就是要交。别的州不是这样
，至少第一次都很少说话有时候是忙忘记了。而且基本不会，因为每个月直接online
autopay了
但是ATL居然没有online auto pay的option，都2013年了，如果电话或者选择online需
要付三十多块钱的手续费。。无语。然后自己递支票有时会忘记。apt每个月的账单又
是月底才告诉你多少钱，因为包含水垃圾什么的所以你也不能提前交。然后下个月初头
几天就要due。他们就靠收罚金赚钱了吧。这是神马policy啊。

原谅我，男人每个月也有不爽的几天,我现在只想代表我自己吼一句：你妹啊！！！
我不知道其他人是怎么定位学生会的，在我看来，学生会就是Purdue学生组织起来的
一个互助团体，仅此而已。学生会有义务尽其可能的为每个遇到麻烦，寻求帮助的人提
供帮助，但没权利也没立场去代表和被代表谁谁谁。低调的，尽其可能的去帮助那些寻
求帮助的人，除此之外不去做多余的惹人不快的事情，这是学生会应该做的，也是学生
会一直做的。每周都会有几封信发给我或者cssa邮箱寻求帮助，我们也都会尽可能的去
帮助他们，提出建议，寻找资源，甚至我还数次由咸湿大叔化身知心妈妈之类的角色（
-_-!），但我们从来没有也不想去越俎代庖的帮人做出决定之类的东西，更不会像版上
的某些人一样拿着别人的不幸说个没完了！将心比心的想一想：谁出门在外没遇到过什
么麻烦啊，都是中国人，能帮就帮了，帮完不就结了？不图知恩图报之类的东西，只图
个，自己心安，社会和谐。或者最多自己YY一下：丫，又认识更多的人了，以后出门吃

degree or something higher than ur current degree then apply for CPT. If
still cant find any, get OPT after graduation and find jos that way. If u r
in bio science field, find jobs in universities as they r non profit, so ur
h1b is 100% no matter when u file it.

My friend used to work in SD, double majored in bio and chem from UCLA in
2010. Couldnt find job in chem so moved to biochem sales. Moving again to SF
since, according to him, SD is pretty dead for job growth and opportunities. |

美国百姓有点破事儿就protest, 就blame on the government. 你说难道it is the
government's fault that girls as young as 13 become pregnant? i admit not
every college graduate can find his/her dream job. 但你说老美讨厌学数理化，
总学什么liberal arts major, 学个哲学，整天研究what is the point of living
life, 这种弱智问题有什么实质价值？这样的人找不到工作，难道也要怪政府吗？

发帖数: 2868 | 21 其实之前在exairex发的帖子已经最后总结了。不过后来有人跟我讲写的太简略，因为
我确实had a lot of fun kayaking yesterday, 今天早上起床以后还沉浸在昨天
kayaking的美好时光里， :) 所以就再写个稍微详细点的总结。
这次活动最后参加的人比实际要少。kayaking差不多是13个人？算上小孩。bbq最后应
该是20个人左右，具体也我没数。其实bbq完了以后，还有play volleyball, 只是没有
照相，多少有些遗憾。其实我带相机了，但第一次kayak, 怕把船翻了，相机掉进河里,
就没敢拿相机上kayak。后来bbq，忙里忙外的没顾上。不过最后有合影，只是合影的
照片要是把脸都遮上，照片就没什么看的,所以就不再公开发到网上了。
anyway, 废话少说，发照片吧。因为这些照片i didn't ask permission from those
who were in the pics, so sry no 正脸照片, 希望大家理解。 |

renewed the registration and licensing yesterday and it cost over $200.
Is it normal in CA? cuz previously in other states, it only cost me about $
40 to renew. Or it really depends on what kind of car you have?

大约两年前，一名移民加拿大，定居安大略省密西沙加市（Mississauga）的大学同学
忧心忡忡地告诉我，她和其他的许多中国家长一起，准备去市政厅向安大略省的省长韦
恩表达抗议。抗议什么呢？反对加拿大安省当时通过并计划推行的新性教育课程。
参与抗议的人群除了来自中国的移民家庭，其他大多是西班牙裔以及印度、巴基斯坦裔
的移民家庭。这些忧心忡忡的家长们聚集起来，质疑省政府推行的新性教育课程并未充
分地征询民意，只是将一小撮人的生活态度，强加给其他人身上。安省政府在计划推行
新性教育课程前，向大约4，000名家长发问卷征询意见，但参与抗议的几百名家长却表
示毫不知情，无一知晓有过被征询意见这回事。
