wow，谢谢胖老师的回复！嗯，你说的第一个和第二个原因极是。想当年只有两次机会
时候开始申基金，不改个十几稿根本不敢投的。现在好多东西都像是连夜赶出来的。其
二，不光光是医学院，好多交叉学科的都在交申请，连搞文科的都在混基金，有的学校
评选tenure的要求写出funded和unfunded的申请，所以估计造就了好多烂申请。
另一方面，还真没碰上那种在2-3之间的棘手案件，这几年基本好的就是从头读到尾都
是好，烂得真是烂。问题是我们的sro非要说给7-9的必须写够理由才可以，基本不写个
5-7条怎么烂都不行，反而写的好的倒可以少说，说没啥缺点泛泛说点优点就成了。
唉，这几个月没学会什么，就会委婉地据人了。我据据就来。 |

，上次投的没戏了。
请教前辈对于投到同一个Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA)的不同appli擦
tions,是根据具体内容分配到相应session，还是放在一起打分？
如果是前者的话，那有可能这个session有可能把投到不同FOA的applications放在一起
打分排列，这样的话如何确保公平性？ 有的foa可能相对容易，有的则比较复杂？ |

for lease renewals of rent stabilized apartments, lofts, hotels and single

在一家菜店里碰到几个白人大妈。chinatown的菜店一般又挤又脏又乱，工作人员
讲英语的不多，很少看到非华人顾客。看着这几个白人大妈衣着不错，不知是经济
最近受影响，还是住在附近图方便便宜。
不过这家店不在chinatown中心，在little italy境内。店铺清净些，收信用卡，
价格也高些。一想，觉得这个市场定位和定价很准确啊。
逛chinatown,难免照几张当街晾衣服的照片。这些楼挂着旅店，hotel的牌子，
实际是SRO (single resident occopancy). 只该住一人，但小小的房间通常挤一大家子
新移民。他们的生活状旷是三藩chinatown常提的问题。
鱼市，里面阴暗潮湿，气味很重。里面还有卖田鸡，乌龟的。走到最里有一家卖活鸡
的。整笼整笼的鸡，还有肉鸽啥的。大家可以想象里面的气味。 |
