Directions: I-93 North, Exit 34B in New Hampshire, follow signs to the
parking lot of Mt. Cannon tramway station. It is 2.5 hours drive from
Boston.

Mt. Cannon is 4080 ft and provides one of the best views, if not the best,
in the White Mountain area. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of
four states (New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and New York) and Canada!

Where: Mt. Jefferson, NH
The third highest mountain in the Northeast.
The easiest way is to go up the Jewell Trail, from the Base Station, to the
Gulfside Trail to Jefferson [rt: 11.0 miles, 4,150 feet, 7:35]. It is
nowhere very steep or rough, but is exposed to the weather for a long time.
We will leave Boston at 6:45AM.
Car pool fee: $20/person
Microspikes are needed (crampon?) along with other winter gears.

We will meet at Trailside Museum, and then hike via red dot line to Eliot
Tower and Weather Observatory, which probably is the highest point of Blue

一年一度秋风劲
转眼间又到了11/11，这是我们第五次专门为单身朋友举办的活动。本次活动采取
potluck 形式，每位带一个菜，我们会准备水果和饮料。饭后打牌聊天儿等活动。$5
per person to cover rental of club house, beverage and fruits.
我们将以短信通知参加者具体地址。地铁到North Quincy (Red line T Braintree
direction)。 我们可以pick up from T station

It is not an easy hike, and there are massive amount of snow. Snowshoes are
a must. And the 6+ hours book time makes the schedule very tight. It would
take about 3 hours to drive to the trail head. So if we start hiking at 10AM
, we will get just about 6.5 hours of day time.

娱乐休闲为一体的大型社交团体. 目前有350多的会员, 年龄大多在28-40岁之间，以单
身为主体, 主要服务于波士顿和周围其它东北地区.
刚刚举办的单身节聚餐, 有60多人参加.
“每周一山” 活动，倍受瞩目和欢迎，目前已经爬了十七座，冬天将继续爬雪山。
cape cod 深海钓鱼和捉螃蟹，即是户外，又休闲。
Penobscot River Class V 漂流, 惊心动魄，it is once-in-a-life-time
experience。
继“每周一山”系列活动以后，我们又推出“每周一餐”系列活动，旨在让不太喜欢户
外运动的朋友有机会参加更多的活动。 这个活动将采取轮流组织的形式，让更多的朋
友参加组织，以便增加多样化和增进相互了解。

集合地点: Main Street 和 Hayward Street 交界处 (about 264 main Street) ,
Cambridge (Redline T to Kendall/MIT station), right around the corner of
Kenall/MIT station.
Carpool fee: $15 per person
从波士顿到Mt.Major 大约90英里，单程开车一个半小时，请带足水和吃的。
Mt。Major 只有1100尺高，山顶景色优美，单程1.5英里，来回3英里，几乎人人都能爬
，回来的路上顺便在 Tilton Outlet Shopping.

rafting is once-in-a-life-time experience. 我去年去漂过一次，非常惊险刺激，
也较安全，比美国其他的 ClassV 河，安全得多。这里是这条河的一段漂流的录像：
