他的老同学 Kerry Berchem（DC 一家 lobbying firm 的合伙人）向 FBI 提出举报，
提供了一些她得到的简讯，这些简讯内容显示 Kavanaugh 与他的团队在 Ramirez 公开
指控之前，就已经试图否认；他们也联络了另外一位当年女性同学，请她出面挺 K。同
时简讯内容也显示 Ramirez 与 Kavanaugh 的关系，不是如以前外界所认为般的单纯。
在毕业十年后，两人曾在一个婚礼场合偶遇，Ramirez 显得很不自在，整场婚礼一直粘
着 Berchem，试图躲避 Kavanaug。
Berchem 先向 FBI 提出举报，但未收到回音，她就联络司法委员会内的民主党议员，
但该议员无法说服委员会内的共和党议员，所以她的举报未被委员会接受。但在该民主
党议员协助下，Berchem 已第二次向 FBI 提出举报，目前尚无回音。
