The Vinings at Spanish Fort. 打算二中挑一。The Vinings at Spanish Fort
便宜一些，但评价比The Arlington at East Shore Apartments 差一些。The
Arlington East Shore 小贵，而且我们要得三居没有，只有１０６１Sq 的小两居.
The Vinings at Spanish Fort 有luxury 1186Sq with sunroom的大两居。有住过或正
住在这两个公寓的朋友给建议一下吗?

之前一直在英语班里，我没有跟她转过去，主要考虑她在家一直汉语，直接去了那个班
，会不会英语说不好？她现在班里的老师的英语很标准，她也很喜欢。。我和spanish
班的老师聊过天，她的英语有口音。
可是我想转过去，主要是很多toddler班大点的孩子（和女儿年龄差不多）都转到了那
个班，主要是mother tongue是英语，多学门语言何乐不为。她现在的班上我女儿算是年龄比
较大的，我觉得是不是应该找年龄相仿的孩子玩比较好呢？

于是就随手写一下刚刚又吃了的 Tasca 吧。此店我之前回帖里提到过，在波士顿蛮有
名气的，身边很多老美都吃过，yelp上600多个评论,四星，比隔壁家那个Bamboo cafe
好N倍啊：

此店是以前朋友推荐的，之前对tapas没有任何研究，吃上这家之后开始喜好tapas
Tasca以前是一个门面，后来生意好，把隔壁吞并了，所以现在里面空间很大的（见照
片），忙的时候也要排队，生意不错，周末还有现场音乐（guitar）演奏，似乎就是什
么spanish guitar style，不太懂了，店里面的装修、氛围比较有外国风情，适合小资
派。。。
这里就推荐两个东东：
1. $10的Sangria pitcher，这个菜单上好像没有，但是点菜时候可以跟waiter问有没
有$10的sangria，或者直接就order之，刚看yelp上说好像是除了周六都有这个deal，

其他课程三年级才开始用英文教学。
好处是，Immersion的孩子，至少Spanish的孩子的英文水平四年级落后于其他英文学校
的孩子，五年级开始追上，六年级超过大部分英文学校孩子的英文水平。而且同时孩子
还流利的掌握了一门外语。
去中文学校的一般是领养过来的孩子和老美，老中一般不去Chinsese Immersion，
Spanish Immersion的老中也比较少，但是有，比如我，我知道的还有一家中国人。其
他的就不知道还有没有了。 |

if i can remember everything they teach, i should be able to
do some conversations such as ordering food in restaurant, asking
directions in the street...
But spanish is very simple. Once you know the basics, you can
start to read. Because all the complex words look similar to
either english or french. You can guess, hehe. |

tape. Spanish is very easy to learn on your own. I started this way and
after 2 months, I enrolled in semester2 spanish in my univerity and found it
easy.
The text book I used for semester2 (include semester 1 material) is called
Puntos de Partida (Point of Departure). It is a very detailed thick book...
kinda expensive though. Any smaller book in the library should be fine for

speaking population, knowing Spanish is definitely a plus for building up a
rapport between patients and you. Patients do not always tell you the whole
story if the conversation is through an interpreter. If not, maybe you can
just learn this language for fun.:) |
