道确切数字，只是后来根据外国记者在北京各大医院和红十字会得到的估计数。
查了一下wiki，各种数字从200到1万都有。当然你说的没错，tg官方数字和丁子林的数
字都只有200左右。

前面我已经说了，英文这个the former没有任何问题，
翻译成中文，“原苏联”比“前苏联”更正确。
但中文的“前”字形容前朝也是有惯例的，
比如民国时说“前清”，清朝时说“前明”都是有的，
和英文“the late”形容刚刚过世的人有类似之处，
指过渡时期用于区分那个大部分人都经历过的时代，
甚至区分那个不被承认的残喘的同一个名称的朝代，比如南明，
直到现在，大陆用“国民党政权”“前国民政府”来代替“中华民国”，
一个道理。
我对比用在人身上的the late不是说“前苏联”的英文翻译是“the late soviet
union”，
英文的精确，还需要这种争议么？
即便如此，the former有一天也会省去，因为soviet union也就是那历史的特定时代。 |

invest in China" at the same time?

里，跟最大时速780公里的P-51不是一个档次，更接近Mig-15.美军空军，海军投入的飞
机总数和中朝苏比是压倒性的。中方有限的飞机只能留在鸭绿江中方一侧来保铁路线，
开到前方支援地面作战，拼消耗，则正中美军下怀，很快打光，得不偿失。二战英美空
军对付德国空军就是这种消耗战术。当年一架飞机对中国来说是极其宝贵的。
